CyberCrime in League

The Riot moderator will probably delete this further proving their complicity with this stuff but this is the average level of conversation in this game. And if you protest it they will penalize you not the person threatening rape or violence. I have had direct threats of violence and rape along with claims of %%%%philia about a couple of games in a row now. Riot's response is closing my tickets. If they let it get to the community, I think you should be aware.

People spouting bullshit in a game is not cyber crime. Cyber crime is like hacking or phishing, not "threatening" you with hollow juvenile garbage that they can't possibly act upon unless someone you're with in your own home is making those threats to you. If you reported those people, that's all you could do, and likely why your tickets were closed by support. You took the proper channels by reporting them, and unless they were threatening you literally the entire game, support wouldn't really need to look into it if the automated system is already handling it.

The people saying all this stuff are likely under the age of 18 and probably still in High School. Just report and move on.

I am from a family of lawyers. Threatening to rape and kill someone online on any platform is a federal crime. Educate yourself. I don't mean to sound bitter or mean but you can take it lightly, not everyone does. Hiding behind a screen and joking about raping a 2 year old does not make it okay.

Think about what you are saying. Really think about it. Do you know how many people throw around immature banter on multiplayer games about rape and violence?

Anyway, Riot would have their hands quite full if they tried to make a case out of every player that makes stupid rape jokes. It's disgusting, sure, but do you expect Riot to police all of that? And if they passed this information to the authorities, they would not be taken seriously whatsoever. Instead, they use an automated system that looks at this stuff and does, in fact, ban the players involved.

And I highly, highly, HIGHLY, doubt that anyone seriously threatened you. It's doubtful they know where you are from or even know your name.
