is there a certain amount of time that even when you reconnect to a game you still get afk?

i was playing a game of doom bots with some friends when my computer froze so i had to reboot after it restarted i rejoined the game and was able to finish as well but after the game i had received a leaver buster even though i made it back and finished the game.
