14 day ban for 1 single game.

I am so fed up with this bullshit, have not played the game for 5 - 6 months, started a week ago and during that week i did not show any toxic behavior towards anyone, today i had a bad day in general, come home to play some league and knowing my luck i get two people who are not communicating and intentionally feeding, all i did was say three words, three bad words %%% x2 and dick once, that's all it took. Now i am here sitting and thinking how can that happen ? i mean do i not get a warning first after not playing the game for 6 months ? surely during that time i could not have been toxic since i did not queue up for any games ? Under the ban policy it says player can be banned for a number of reasons, feeding and not contributing being one of them, but i can guarantee that those two guys a played my last game with are just fine, how is this fare ? My account has been suspended by a fucking algorithm, the so called "Instant feedback system" or whatever. Those two trolls in my game deserved what i said, they wore wasting my time, and the time of two other players on our team, not to mention the elo, etc. I can assure you that most people who are in their right state of mind and like competitiveness would have said something. Anyway, this is a joke, instead of actually having the decency to investigate the matter properly, i get banned, ignoring my side of things and getting straight to the solution, AND with no possibility of an un-ban even if you do explain yourself.

You should seriously consider what you are saying here before you come back from your 14-day ban. Because I can promise you that this way of thinking will result in a perma-ban.

Hey rito man there is a slight bug in your punishment system. Maybe its been patched already but just want to bring it up.

Okay I was banned a few months ago for 2 weeks for doing/saying stuff I should not have. I contacted support and they said do this again and you will be perma banned. Old me being old me I go into a game after 2 weeks and say some stuff I should not have but then the instant punishment system gives me the 10 game chat restriction. But shouldn't I have been perma banned?

I don't know how many times i said the word %%%, and yes maybe i said restarted, don't know, my point is that it was just one game in which they trolled. and you're saying that not playing is not a way of getting my account back in good status? all thought it's a way of bringing it to a shit one? Whatever, what was i thinking of even posting something, one thing we could have all agreed on from reading the title of this thread is that i will not be un-banned under any circumstances due to your excellent system you got going on here.

You can just log into your account or email to get your chat logs. You should also be receiving chat logs from 3 games, not just this one.

Who in the world said that being inactive can bring your account to good status? That's just damn lazy.

Sometimes i forget that we are still talking about a computer game, i have no idea how a few words could have earned me a ban, i did not go on a rampage and those words were not out of thin air. You got that wrong Mr. perfect, my chat logs as i log in to the client are for the one game only, i am sure Mr. PhD Riot Tantram can confirm this. Taking a sentence out of a paragraph can be kind of out off context, i am saying that if riot can make the decision to de-rank my account based on the idea that there will be an inconvenience for other players to play with me due to my skill level decreasing, then what about reducing my punishment tiers? You are able to loose rank either by playing the game or by not playing, why is it that punishment tiers can only refresh by playing the game? Like Mr. Riot Tantram said i had 2x chat bans previously, now when was that exactly? i can guarantee you that it was about 6 - 7 months ago, a time period that should have brought my tier down at least by 1. Anyway like i said, no point talking about it, i will have to wait another 12 days to play the game, oh and was just wondering do you like get RP redeem codes for promoting this so called "Excellent" system, or are you an actual Belieber, i mean believer?

Apparently, your past chat restrictions & your 14 days suspension says otherwise.

You got that wrong Mr. perfect, my chat logs as i log in to the client are for the one game only, i am sure Mr. PhD Riot Tantram can confirm this.

Sometimes 1, sometimes 3. The rest of the chat logs can be granted from requesting Riot Support. The ones you received in your client itself only shows the most recent ones, means there could be a lot more from other past games.

If you're Plat, it only takes 1 game to prevent Rank Reduction for like a couple of weeks or so. After that, play a** fuckton of Normals **while not being toxic in order to bring your account back to good standing, simply put, reducing the chances of getting a higher tier punishment. That's it. How is this not simple to grasp?

The best part of this is accounts are free! Create a new one, roll some people up until level 30 making them hate the game and acquire currency. And you can even use a fake email since you aren't required to verify before playing. Troll on my friend.

Riot has a zero tolerance policy on hate speech, which the word in your post that is censored by the forum qualifies as.

As someone who is both, as you say, fairly competitive and in his right mind, there are ways to express your frustration that do not involve insults.

Does not really matter what exactly i said and how i phrased it, unless criticism can get you banned as well, which to be honest at this point would not surprise me. Anyway i remember a time when you used to get a chat ban for shit talking, now it's just boom, you say a few words and you're done. Someone said that you need to play league for the 1,2,3,4 punishment tiers to refresh and if you don't - they don't, so riot reduces my rank for me not playing for 6 months like i mentioned because they think my skill level went down over that period of time, however they do not reduce my punishment tier because they still think i am toxic? Definitely a well thought out system.

There is something you can do about it now... learn why exactly what you said was punishable so you don't get permabanned.

However, if you really don't care to learn why what you said was punishable, then you cannot get upset if you get permabanned for the same reason as this 14 day ban.

It's your choice.

  1. Stomp your feet and say Riot is wrong

  2. Learn why you were punished and not repeat your mistake

'Account toxicity level' seems to be more reliant on the amount played, rather than actual time. Which is reasonable, i mean, if you aren't playing, you aren't toxic but, should that give a free pass to be toxic as soon as you get back?

Nice guys! You guys are awesome. Do more of this next game!!! This is really funny. Hell no. My friend got banned 14 days when he was level 16 at the game. He had honor level 3 and everything. Not a single ban before that. 1 Game and 14 day ban. He said. Quiet kid, you suck. He also said Get the fk out of my screen. 14 day ban. NICE RIOT! The whole enemy team were talking sht and he gets banned. Well done riot. Amazing. Riot should only give out chat bans and there is a mute button aswell. In cs go you can talk sht 24/7 and 0 ban. The game is still fun as hell and one of the best games out there. Banning someone for 14 days is just going to make them angry and more toxic. Trolling should be bannable but not talking sht in chat. Talking sht is also part of the fun in games. Ive been banned for just messing with the enemies and they know im just messing around but they get tilted and report me when they lose. Shitty system but we are talking about riot after all. Shitty company aswell

Maybe i should be punished, but this severe? isn't their like a tier 1,2,3,4 type of thing and they go down every 3 months or something? Oh and what is the alternative way of expressing my frustration? and why should i if they caused it? It's not like i was doing it just to do it. Some bs system.

They go down the more you play. If you haven't played for 6 months it's still going to be the same as when you had left. Anyone who uses the N word or any form of racist comment/word deserves a ban.

Getting a 14 day ban for that is sooooooo unfair if youve never recieved a chat restriction before. The 14 day ban is harsh since you are also threatend with a perma ban if reported again during a two month period after the 14 days is over. Riot doesnt go back on punishments, its unfair your side of the story gets ignored like that. Best of luck though, hopefully this issue gets resolved.
