Got reported for ZERO reason

I just solo queued and connected with a four man party. so like usual I was jungle and they started get mad at me, because apparently I wasn't a team player (I can not recall saying anything before they said this) I have no idea why, maybe it was because I was getting kills, I do NOT ks I am very careful about it I make sure the kills I get I earned. so after they said that I just muted them and didn't say anything for the whole game. later in the game they all surrendered when we could have won easily, so I said gg like usual, and then right away I get reported for verbal abuse and they all start saying in the lobby that I was racist, I HAD LITERALLY SAID NOTHING THE WHOLE GAME.so what should I do?

Nothing. If you didn't do anything you won't get punished. The system does check if reports are legitimate.

There is a statistic that is counted for the amount of reports that you receive, but that number doesn't count against your account in anyway. The system checks for false reports, and reports that are deemed to have no grounds are disregarded and don't count towards your account status.

Side note: People that frequently false report lose weight in their reports. The system will eventually totally disregard them, and continued abuse may result in bans for them!

If you're reading this, chances are you've received a message along the lines of "Warning - Your recent behavior isn't in line with how most League of Legends players act. You have been recently reported for [insert offense]. We know everyone has bad days, but remember to take it easy and make sure you're being sportsmanlike."

It'll look something like:

Ultimately, if you get this message and you feel like you've been wrongfully reported, you honestly don't have to do anything. The report will be reviewed, and if it turns out that they reported you wrongly, your account won't receive any punishments and their reporting powers will be reduced. The message above is simply a notification that you've been reported, and is NOT an indicator of whether or not you will receive a punishment. Consider it feedback, and the next time you get the message (if there is a next time), if you didn't do anything, there's nothing to worry about!

As Deep Terror Nami mentioned, the reports are checked automagically by the system and evaluated. If the system finds that the reports are false, the reporter's report weight goes down and there's no negative marks towards your account.
