Leaverbuster Leaves Permanent Marks on Players' Accounts

So just recently I had queued up for a ranked game, went to the bathroom while it loaded, then came back and began scrolling through a meme website. Not realizing the game had started I ended up causing my team to Remake. After realizing what I'd done I tried to start another game only to have 5 20 Minute low-priority queues on my account. This is likely because a long time ago when I first started playing league (Over a year ago) I would often leave games. This past behavior led to longer and longer queues up to 20 minutes. I haven't afked or left a game in months upon months, let alone get a leaverbuster. Now, I have no problem with being punished for afking 1 game, but I do strongly disagree with the fact that these old mistakes (leaving games) carry through indefinitely and I think that the leaverbuster system should be changed so that the duration of these low-priority queues get reduced after not leaving games for a long time.

Well deserved. Wish they would start banning people like you who don't care about the other players. If you care this much then just stay out of the game altogether and solve two problems. If you que up you pay attention or get what you deserve. I love it and for you to come here and whine about shit that you are 100% wrong for makes it even better.

It does I think? I received a message a couple of months ago congratulating me on not leaving any games recently and being reformed. Haven't tested it because I don't want to, but I suspect I'm back at the beginning of the LeaverBuster punishment bracket.

That isn't entirely true. A few months ago I had to leave a game due to a power outage. After about 30 or so games I got a message saying my standing with leave buster improved.

To get a 20 minute Low priority means you show a history of not connecting, leaving games early, or being AFK in games. The system already has an allowance for Emergancies and the odd connection issue.

If you want this to go away, I would work on the issues that are causing you to get leaver busted in the first place. Ie, fix connection, make sure you have plenty of time to finish the game before starting one and so on.

If you're level 30

You get 20 minute busters

On average it takes 3 months to reset leaver buster penalty(more of the time its longer) no real knowing how long. In addition had you not played for the time after you were docked for leaving games, then your account has made 0 progress in reforming to a point where they check you off for good behavior.
