WTF Perma ban

Came home to a perma ban two days ago. Absolutely no email or reason for the ban. I am very confused as someone who has played LOL for years and has spent hundreds of dollars on this account. This isn't right.

I did two days ago when it happened. Trying to get a reason as to why it happened. I haven't left a game in months and I am a pretty friendly guy so I am at a loss. This is the only acc I have and I have spent years getting over 70 skins and every champ. I am just confused as to why it happened at all.

If you didn't get an email, and it didn't show you a Reform Card when you tried to log in, it may be a security lock on the account. Any of the IFS punishments are accompanied with a Reform Card when you try to log in, and most of the account sharing and other gameplay related offenses tell you when you try to log in why you are suspended. The pop-up will say something like "actions on this account have been found to be in violation..." or it may even say Intentional Feeding.

Security locks show up as "permanent suspensions" when you try to log in, but it's not the same thing. It's just a lock on the account put in place by Riot to protect the owner of the account if they suspect that it has been compromised. They do not generally come with a warning pop-up, and may not come with an email, in case the email was the way the account was hacked. All you need to do is contact Player Support via ticket, and confirm the ownership of the account. They will ask you some questions to prove that you own it (things like first champion/skin bought, locations that you have played from, ISP, how you've bought RP, etc.) and you just need to answer as many of them as you can, to let them be sure that it is your account. Then they can unlock it, and you can get it back. At that point, you'll just want to make sure that your computer and email are secure, and I would recommend changing all your passwords.

I have received no email in regards to this suspension. I also have no messages on my account online. This is very weird

Hmmm. Looking at that message, and then what you and one of the other commenters mentioned about your flash keys changing, it's quite possible that Riot thought your account was hacked and locked it for you. There looks to have been a very long period of time where you didn't play, something like 7-8 months, and then as soon as you are back, the keys change on summoner spells. That sort of thing can look a bit odd, so the system will sometimes lock those accounts for the player's protection. On the plus side, it's very easy to get them unlocked. Sometimes the emails are misplaced into a spam or junk folder, so you might want to check there just in case. But either way, Support will respond to your ticket soon and let you know what is going on. Just try to be patient, and don't bump your ticket unless you have any new information that needs to be added, as that can drop you to the back of the queue.

What does it say when you try to log in? Could be a security issue and not a behavioral one, just wait on that ticket.

Oh yeah, security issue. Sucks you're locked out, but don't worry, if you're the legitimate owner of the account you'll get it back. Just be patient with that support ticket.

If that is the only issue then that will be a relief. This has never happened to me before so im just kind of fuming. I just checked my match history just to make sure I didn't leave any games and my history says im great sooo. Waiting on the ticket.

I change it because I have difficulties with my index finger at times due to an injury. I switch to using my middle finger when it get to bothering me. lol
