People throwing ranked games because their champ was banned?

Does riot not punish people who intentionally throw games as hard as they should? And if they do punish them, do the reduce the punishment on the 4 poor souls that had to deal with him? Thankfully I haven't ran into it much this season, but I just had a game with a ~~Glorious~~ Wukong who was livid that Yi was banned. In pregame lobby he stated that this loss was on the person who banned Yi's head. So it was clear he was going to throw. Then he proceeded to say it was an accident all game that he said that... God maybe riot will take care of this. Instead of further turning people off of the game with the glorious community.

Maybe you shouldn't ban the champ that he has as his pick intent next time

Ive seen threads where people complain about being wrongfully banned, and then a rioter comes in and smites them because they were doing exactly what you describe.

I mean that's terrible and inexcusable but stop banning people's champions. I can't use pick intent anymore. First pick mid and they banned Annie. Like, why? Made me play LeBlanc. I suck at LeBlanc. Almost threw the game, but managed to get carried by a Skarner. Somehow.

because the automatic system can't detect throws properly executed look, if you ban my main, I'll stalk you ingame and try to steal all your farm. If you fight the enemy, I'll watch you die. If you don't fight, I'll just stalk.

anything else than a human analyzing the game will not be able to pick up the fact that I'm throwing on purpose. there's about 20mil players in this games across all regions together. Do you think "riot" has time to check manually all games?

They tribunal system caters to whiny little bitches. Millennials who will AFK in fountain, throw games, just because they didn't get exactly what they wanted, or their teammates don't play the game the way they like, or someone called them a penis. It's embarrassingly sad, but it's what you get when you cater to cancerous players, instead of competitive players. If you take away the ability to offset the blame of a loss and put it on tribunal, you give players an excuse not to focus on the game, and instead to protect their fragile egos by playing passively, and AFKing in the fountain because at the end of the day, they can just cry to riot for not getting their way.

The player behaviour mirrors the mechanics you put in the game. (Riot PM me, I am always available, at a cost)

I get chat restricted and 14 day bans for talking mad shit to enemies when i kill them or straight up outplay them. But they don't ban people running down mid and feeding 0/20 then afk. Riot has no priorities!

Are you high Gold/low Plat as well? I just ran into an extremely similar situation earlier. Master Yi was banned so a player picked Elise. He proceeded to tower dive every lane at level 1 and went 3/11. He got 3 kills because our team still tried to save him.

I checked that player's match history. Almost all his losses happens in streaks. It seems he just picks a day he wants to troll people.

Unless they are last pick and you can't trade, don't ban your teammate's pick intent. People who ban a teammate's pick intent and people who throw games deserve each other. But the rest don't deserve to deal with that crap.

If I'm first pick and one of my teammates ban the champion that i said i wanted to play, then im gonne fk up their ranked game :^). jk but plz dont be a jerk and ban ure own team's wanted champs or comfort picks

I just dodge the match if it's my team. My own team banned Soraka 4 times in a row on me 2 times I would have first picked. Very frustrating when trying to learn a champ.

You kids totally deserved it by banning Yi. There are so many kids in this game who are actually bronze players, but they get to plat and diamond by playing Yi only. He really is so broken that you don't even need teammates to win the game. Easy elo. Nice loss.

Or maybe you need to grow up and accept that people tilt easily. "Does riot not punish people who intentionally throw games as hard as they should?" Yes Riot does, as long as it is INTENTIONALLY. Everyone can has a bad day and a bad game. Maybe the wukong is a girl and was on period? Besides, you knew yi was probably one of their best champions and it was banned. Then you should've be prepared for the player's potential bad performance.

In short, your question seems rather pointless because Riot does put alot of effort into punishing negative behavior. Perhaps next time instead of being mean to the wukong, just move on to next game and keeping in mind that shit happens.
