Unsportsmanlike Conduct Ban? Mainly Rage

Basically, I was playing a match with this really salty Camille who got camped. She fed, but I didn't really mind at all. Our team as a whole was doing fine and even tho we ended up losing, there wasn't any big problem. The only thing that ticked me off at one point was when this Camille started raging at us for certain things such as exhausting somebody prematurely and then saying we suck at league and should uninstall. I really just ignored his comments and so did the rest of the team. However, after one bad team fight, he raged out on all of us, and I said "shut up, its getting annoying" and then I muted him. Idk what happened after that, but today when I opened my League client, it said I got an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. First I would like to know what this penalty does, then I would like to know how that tribunal system works if he didn't get reported. Half the time I get reported, it's by someone who just gets pissed at me for saying shut up or something like that because they're being toxic and I just say what everyone else is thinking. Lastly, I would just like to know your thoughts and if you think it is fair.

This is mostly just rage so you can ignore it if you want, but I would just like to bring this to rito's attention.

If you were reported for unsportsmanlike conduct several times, you automatically get the notification. I would be a bit mindful with what you say, but it should not really matter. The system automatically gives the notification, even if it were all false reports.

Something else has to be going on here. You mention an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, but none of the punishments are actually called that. Were you given a chat restriction, a 14 day or a permanent suspension?

It would be hard to say whether it was fair without knowing exactly what punishment you were given, and without seeing your chat logs. They should have been given with your reform card. If you would like us to look them over, feel free to post them here.

You have to be toxic in most of your matches to get that penalty. You will now reform or be banned.
