Yo just got perma'd, didn't think I was that bad, am I just delusional?

So just got permabanned on an account I'd spend a bit of money and a lot of time on. I flamed a fair bit, but never if someone didn't say anything to me or fucked my lane or something. Worst word I'd use would be retarded, not hate speech or telling people to harm themselves or anything. I did just unintentionally feed a few games as Riven, so that probably triggered the reports but like look at these logs, am I just an asshole? Almost all my talking is allchat flaming the enemy, which I thought was kind of a tactic, insult the enemy get them mad and then they focus you so your team-mates can do more. Like every insult here is directed at an enemy I'm pissed at, is that viewed just as harshly as flaming your own teammates?

Do I have any recourse or is that doneso.

You're hardly the worst case of toxicity I've ever had in my games, but to be honest you're fairly negative and IMO overly critical of your team. I might have reported you for 'negative attitude' if I'd been in your games. I can't be sure, because even though context doesn't matter to Riot, it can matter to me as a player. I might not report you if someone is raging at you; nonetheless, if someone does report you and you've been toxic or negative back, only your behavior counts.

In one of your games:

"Tomstoned: why talk?"

I sorta facepalmed when I read this because my immediate thought was: if you'd followed your own advice you might not be banned.

I don't think your chat warrants an 'instant' permaban by any means. A 'punishment', sure. But the punishments stack over time, so as I'm sure other's have said or will say, if your previous punishment was a 14-day ban then the next punishment can result in a permanent ban, no batter how mild the offense.

I look at it like DUI laws. Let's say a state has a '3 DUI strikes and you're out' law. (Most U.S. States have a .08 blood/breath alcohol limit for driving - much lower in most EU countries)

Your 1st DUI you're twice the legal limit at 0.16 BrAC, driving poorly, maybe had a fender bender, slurring your words, etc. Your 2nd DUI you're 1.5 times times the legal limit at 0.12 BrAC, maybe you got pulled over for weaving or something. Your 3rd and final DUI you're literally AT the legal limit of 0.08 BrAC, and were stopped by law enforcement for a bad tail-light. They realized you were already alcohol restricted and weren't supposed to be drinking at all. You get arrested.

It's not gonna matter to the judge that you were just barely at the limit. That might have mattered if it was a first offense. But now you're at 3 strikes and he's going to throw the book at you, because he's sick of seeing your name at the top of his case files.

Likewise, your first offense could end up being punished just as harshly if it's bad enough - maybe you're 5 times the legal limit at 0.40 BrAC, you're practically comatose, and caused a major accident and injured or killed someone. That's like the 'instant 14 day ban or permaban'.

Wow that was longer than I intended... LOL... Maybe my examples aren't the best (I work in the legal field and adjacent to law enforcement) but I think you get the idea. Don't be 'THAT' guy that ends up being the poster child for M.A.D.D. - and don't be the repeat offender or give the judge a reason to make an example of you.

As I don't think you're the worst case out there (by far) I hope you make a new account and strive for positivity. Maybe I'll catch you on the rift.

Doesn't matter why you were flaming. It's not like any kind of flame is helpful.

If you think people were intentionally feeding, might as well just report them at the end of the game instead of flaming them, it'll just end up making you look like the bad guy when there is no context.

And if this got you perma banned, there must've been previous punishments before, chat restrict, and time bans. So this obviously isn't your first time caught flaming.

TLDR I think you deserved it.

How "bad" your chat is doesn't matter outside of "zero tolerance" escalated cases. Once you reach the point where your next punishment will be a perma, anything that is punishable at all will lead to it.
