Prepicking Champs - In this dodge environment, is it worth it?

So we all know that declaring your champ is kind of important, especially if you intend to play an often-banned champ, however, I have noticed that with all these people dodging games, declaring a champion is now a decent risk. What I mean by this is let's say I want to play Katarina so I declare her and then someone one dodges the match. The next match that is offered doesn't preserve the team composition so some of the folks that I was just with end up on the other team and then can target ban. I have had this happen to me, and conversely have been able to do it to others. I know that it doesn't happen every time, but when it does, boy is it annoying. Perhaps if this autofill is going to be life now, then rito can at least preserve the teams between those dodges.

I always drop queue after a dodge and wait about a minute, then re-queue. Overall it'll take you 2 or 3 extra minutes to get a game but you won't have people banning each others champs.
