Are we ever going to get an option to report players after we've left the post match lobby? I'm getting really tired of saying something like "Can't overcome a 5/13 Annie" and finding out I got reported for "verbal abuse" 10 minutes later by a new lvl 22 summoner. I'd at least be able to counter the report or something, because this is getting ridiculous.

Any event, reports are supposed to be for in-game actions and chat. Not as a way of "getting back" at someone for reporting you. Thankfully, the system is moderately good at identifying players who report without justification, and it weighs their reports much less.
As a matter of fact, even if you AREN'T trying to report people for reporting you (which is very abusive of the system), you'll still want to self-limit your reports to the more extreme cases where someone REALLY deserves it. If you spam reports, the system barely acknowledges your reports, and you'll not have a meaningful impact in punishing the people who DO deserve it.
If you keep your reports to a minimum, the few times you do report someone, the system will take note of it.

MeilinII2 votesYou deserved that report, technically, because it's against the Summoners Code and TOS to be negative. Refrain from making passive-aggressive excuses for your loss, and you won't have to worry about it.
