A question about macros

Yesterday i read a thread about someone being perma-banned for scripting for using "macros" in his razer naga, and as i understood using a macro in order to execute a combo for example Cassiopeia e on a perfect cooldown or LeeSin ward jump, etc. is considered scripting, but what about macros for fastly typing something in the chat, whether it be or not be helpful, like typing "warded" in a click of a mouse button. Hope i can get a red response or an arbiter in here.

Btw i own a g502 proteous core(best mouse ever) with the macro function using the official logitech software but ive never used it.

Yeah, this really is a gray area that I don't think Riot has ever addressed. Would be nice for Riot to define their position better on this topic.

The official stance is nothing that will affect gameplay between when you hit play and when you press continue on the (hopefully) victory screen.

What you are describing does not affect gameplay, but it may be safer not to do it.

I wonder if a support ticket could help. Somebody there might know better than we do - or at least might know who to ask.
