Ranked query force a player to specialize. I had to play one lane and make the same champion pick over and over again. It kinda sucks out joy from the game. I believe game designers should look into it.
Hey fellow summoner, no one is forcing you to specialize you can pick any role you want every game just dont expect the results to be as effective, and there is no to change this there are a decent amount of people in this game who like to onetrick and a decent amount that try to stick to their role, the reason you feel like you have to specialize is because of the players not the game the player who play their respective role every game is generally going to outperform the person who jumps around from lane to lane it has nothing to do with game design.
Well, they've made and still kept positional match making. So even if you play other roles, you won't get stomped and still get a decent competitive experience.
Specialising can help you climb quickly, but learning other champs can make you become better long term, as it allows you to learn the intricacies of the other champs so when you play against them, you can know their counters better.
Can't always have your cake and eat it too.
If you want to make a lot of money, sometimes you will have to do a job you won't necessary enjoy or like.
If you want to do fun jobs, sometimes you have to settle for less salary.

Couldn't be more false. Good players climb with a huge variety of champions. Miss Fortune isnt even an optimal pick right now. You just climb on it because it is one of the only champions you are good enough to reach gold with.
