The problem is trolls are so rarely punished right now since they took the power from the community. If you troll repeatedly in a role, you shouldn't be able to play that role at all for 2 weeks. And if that happens with 2-3 roles, put a temp ban on the account. Trolls need to be fixed. The community isn't so much toxic as fed up with people who just troll on purpose.
I got yelled at today for informing a Caitlyn that she could E thru a Taliyah wall instead of wasting flash. Because that makes me a "pro" and a jerk. What is wrong with this game when you let people go unchecked who throw games on purpose when you have veteran players trying to teach them and help them get better.
90% of my losses are legitimately playing for teamwork and then losing because my support trolls and plays a carry instead (Ziggs/Veigar) and takes sighstone but then doesn't ward and steals kills all game on purpose. ADCs who play at melee range or try to 1v2 when you back or don't know how to kite. Mid laners who let their lanes roam without a whisper to your lanes, don't push turrets, and don't follow up so you die horribly, lose dragons, and they just shrug cuz, of course, they have great cs and a good KDA which RIOT REWARDS!!!!
The system has been fouled up so bad that we pat people on the back for playing selfishly and losing games while the people who rely on that teamwork and are actually trying to climb the ladder are stuck forever in elo hell because they look bad because even diamond players can't 2v4 at 5 minutes.
