Hi, so I got banned for 3rd party programs. I have no idea why whatsoever.

OK, so the only thing I remember using was my macros on my keyboard, which from my understanding aren't a third party program that interference with league at all. In fact, the only thing I remember using them for is to spam my friends (I accidentally hit one of them in a few games). I tried contacting riot support multiple times, and all they gave me were copy/pasted messages that said "You're scripting, you're scripting, blah blah blah..." like honestly, I don't remember doing anything wrong. The only other 3rd party program I use is curse voice, and from my understanding curse voice is 100% OK to use. Honestly, all I'm asking for is a general, honest description of why I got banned so I know the reasoning behind it, but all I got were copy/paste messages.

I am allowed to steal money from my parents because from my understanding i will get it someday anyway when they die.

What you think is not what's the actual truth.

Macros are simple mini programms. And you use it right into the game - which is not allowed.

a macro is a special function to allow to assign one or multiple actions/functions to a single key/button. Let's say we're playing a regular mmo, you know, tab to target a monster, number keys to use some skills. We could then, let's say, assign one of these macro keys the commands to do the following commands in a sequence: tab to enemy, use certain skills after that in a desired order, probably skills that are either strong or make a combo, and then target yourself and use a healing ability or item. all at the single push of a button, and then just repeat over and over. Usually gaming keyboards are the most prominent in having such macro-able extra keys to save players actions/reaction times or to allow complicated features to be used more easily as they will be pre-programmed into one, or possibly split between several, keys.

It depends on what the macro does. Setting something like a short phrase ("warded") to a single keystroke, or binding the items slots to mouse buttons are both examples of macros that are perfectly acceptable to use.

Macros that aren't are when you can perform an entire combo with a single keystroke (in other words, scripting), and those will get you banned
