Was permanently banned without being banned in the past and didn't receive an email notification

I was recently permanently banned from League for reasons relating to toxicity. I am completely aware of my actions and what I have done and by no means think that I am not at fault. I have never been banned for toxicity on this account ever and the last time I had any problems relating to being toxic was back in season 3 where I had a chat ban for a couple of games. I find it weird how I was suddenly permanently banned without ever being banned in the past and I also did not receive an email notification informing me that my account was banned.

Submit a ticket with Riot support, that's the only way to find out what's gone on with your account.

Also check your spam and junk mail , your email might just be in there.

Check your profile (your name in the top right) to see what email address is associated with the account.

Skipping punishment tiers usually happens in cases of extreme toxicity. It could also be that your ban is not chat related at all.

By the sound of your story, it seems it was another kind of ban (3rd party programs and/or account sharing/boosting). But yeah, look and ask for your e-mail if it got lost somewhere, it's a long shot but maybe it was just a misfire from the system.

Best of luck!

Like others have said you can skip tiers of punishment so it's not that hard to believe that it might be the case here. With that said it does seem weird that you assume it's related to toxic behavior yet don't have an email or possible chat logs from the client. So what would make you think it's related to toxic behavior? Usually emails can be delayed (by days) so it shouldn't be too worried about that. The only other explanation of a permaban right off the bat would mean that you use 3rd party programs. Just wait for the email for more clarification or contact support.
