So I was banned for nothing?

Dear my fellow summoners, i was banned on 5/16/2016 for abusing 3rd party applications to gain an unfair advantage in the game, i sent a ticket explaining that i did not have any programs interfering with or otherwise tampering with my game other then some custom skins. I was then reassured that my account was not banned because of my custom skins and that after a thorough investigation my account was deemed to be using cheats.

Now i understand that riot cannot disclose information about the exact reasons why a summoner was banned, but i was not using any programs at all whatsoever. I was told that the cheats i had used was so severe that riot will never remove my suspension. Right now i am utterly confused, i have not ever hacked in league, I am literally only silver 4 after playing for around 3-4 months to get there from bronze 5, and i have spent too much time and money on this account to have it removed for false accusations.

I would've understood if i was banned for custom skins as i realize they are under the "Use at your own risk" category but i was reassured by Riot Legendary that it was not custom skins. I do not understand whatsoever why i was banned.

And before the comments start flowing in about "there is obviously something your not telling us" I have other summoners i know in real life that can confirm that i have never used hacks or exploits in league.

And before the comments saying "get over and start over again" comes in i just want to say that i spent a good while making friends over league and having fun climb the elo ladder with them, and that i loved the game so much that i spent probably around $100+ dollars on it. And to have it all removed for literally no reason (that i know of) is really sad for me. The friends i made climbing the elo ladder don't want to have to restart and level again because that's just dumb, (just as a side note to riot, leveling is literally the most boring thing ever, and it really is a big waste of time) i remember that when i was leveling this account i was so close to quitting league because leveling was so boring. I only had the spark re-ignited when i reached 30 and was able to play ranked.

I just don't want all my hard work and money to go to waste, and i dearly wish riot could re-consider the ban, I really do love this game but getting banned for nothing puts a dent in the relationship. Please reconsider riot.
