I really don't understand this community anymore, not that I ever really did; but it was never this bad. Everyone wants to be a keyboard warrior and blame everyone else for their mistakes. If you're winning, you're talking trash to the enemy team making their game even worse. If you're losing, you're taking it out on your own team. What is the enjoyment in this? Why do people feel the need to behave so negatively towards others. Just got a 14 day ban over a teammate who reported me because I didn't ban the champs he liked in poro king. He fed 15 deaths in less than 10 minutes, enemy team thought he was just hilarious. I politely told them what was going on, they found it hilarious encouraged him and reported me also. I know you're probably thinking I'm just trying to take all the responsibility off of me for my ban, but... this one definitely was not deserved. In the past I've definitely said things banworthy and never had a thing come of it. But with this new system they are handing them out to the wrong people left and right for nothing yet the ones who deserve punishment escape unscathed. It upsets me to see a game I love so much completely trashed by people who don't even care anything about it. People want to be a keyboard warrior and act all tough on the internet harassing and abusing people as much as they can, but when even a fraction of what they do to others is reciprocated towards them they want justice and have been completely wronged.

You have two options when getting trolled:

  1. Instantly mute troll and carry on with your game

  2. Engage troll in a senseless debate nobody wants to read for the remainder of the match + cry to the other team in All Chat (they don't care either) -> both result in your getting reported by one of multiple players

For sure, I'm kinda about done with the game anyway. I see people telling others some of the most hateful things anyone could ever possibly say to another, then get offended over calling out a mistake that was made. If i do ever decide to play again I'm just going to mute everyone.

People can troll you even without having chat. It's incredibly easy. I see it all the time.

Common Trolling Methods without Chatting:

  1. Spamming pings unnecessarily, or falsely using pings to make a player uncertain where the enemy actually is
  2. Using champ mechanics to prevent team from getting kills, or give the enemy kills (Blitz pull, Ali knock, Tahmn Bite, Anivia Frost wall, Bard Ult, and more)
  3. Preventing them from getting CS
  4. Making your team think you're going into a team fight, then back out. 75% chance this will get them killed.

I see this on a regular basis - mostly 1,3,4, but 2 is still there a lot. Yes, players can do this unintentionally, but there are a few cases where I'm 100% convinced they were doing it on purpose. Usually it's a player who is flaming from the start of the game then once 1-2 people mute them they start betraying their own team by doing shit on that list.

Your post was more useless than mine so I don't understand the downvotes. You already said the obvious. There are unobvious ways people are trolling that I pointed out. That's something Riot could work on so reporting actually means something.
