I just had the perfect example of how attitude adjustment can win a game and I want to share it!
First off I would like to ask Riot if in any way I could get the chat logs or maybe be able to rewatch this game somehow, because it was truly an amazing experience and I feel like it could really help players change their attitudes in-game and lessen the toxicity/flaming in chat.
So I just finished a ranked game that started off horrifically and ended in a fairy tail ending. As the game starts off, I'm the jungler and I try to get in early ganks for my mid and top lane, but both of these fail miserably with me giving first blood to the enemy Fizz and both of us dying to their top lane. On top of this our botlane had given a couple double kills, leaving the score to be 0-10 at 7:00. Our midlane, Wukong, began to heavily flame me and bot lane, and adding to this, their Fizz started flaming as well calling us a bunch of "inexperienced players". We were able to take 1-2 kills off of them, but this Fizz was still being pretty toxic and almost everyone on our team thought it was gg. The one major thing the Fizz said was "something something toxic, just take this defeat like a man". This was the slow turning point of the game, as Wukong and I had both seemed to mutually agree that we wouldn't lose the game to this truly toxic player. Coming back from a 4.7K gold lead at just 8 minutes seemed impossible, but we were able to trade a couple kills back and forth. Then we began to group and were able to pull off 3 aces in the span of 5 minutes with only a couple deaths each time. Finally we took the win after the last ace and the Fizz seemed to have no more words by the end of the game. After the game, my Wukong added me and apologized for how toxic he had been from the start of the game. This was really awesome and probably the greatest experience I've ever had playing League of Legends.
Sorry I'm a pretty crap story teller, but like I said, chat logs could really help if I can get them somehow!
TL;DR: I fed very badly, Regi and Fizz were toxic. Regi and I agree not to lose to toxic fish. We come back from 10-0 and have a great experience.
