Norms - First and Last to connect

I've connected last most of the time because I'm playing from Korea to NA servers. One thing I'm very frustrated about is people calling false claims that they've gotten their lane because they connected first and dish out your call cause of it. Came across a few people auto-locking, while I just picked my Champion and had others even confirm that I got the lane.

The worst thing is getting reported for things you didn't even do. Ex. - Doing bad at a game because you had the person be a parasite at your lane and get reported.

I really want Riot to change this 'system' of having joining a queue and shows the players connecting #1-5 first and last, mainly because of people getting toxic and abusing it.

Having others confirm the roles is really the only way to determine who has the role. I've seen instances all the time where both people have the call first on their screen, but only one screen is actually the correct version of who called it first (this has happened where I called first but actually didn't and vice versa). Blind pick is very outdated and needs a system that recognizes when someone calls a lane, then displays on an indicator that it is their role.

there actually is no pick order / call order / first connect order.

All those are common courtesy and not a fast and hard rule regarding who gets what lane in blind pick. There is also nothing against auto locking in blind pick.

Another thing to note is that you don't need to worry about false reports. The system has the ability to filter out false reports. Providing if you aren't doing things with a bad intent, you won't get punished.

Have you considered giving draft mode a whirl? It has a lot of positives going for it that blind pick doesn't. You get bans, there are no mirror matches, you have your role assigned to you at the start of the lobby.
