What more can Riot do about toxicity, namely in Ranked.

We've all had it happen, and here I am posting because a flagrant instance just happened to me. There was a duo dead set on throwing the lead we had gotten early on, a substantial one at that. They succeeded, and frankly my first instinct is to just uninstall. With members of the community dead set on throwing games, why take competitive seriously when all it takes is one individual to give you the metaphorical middle finger and throw. There is nothing you can do except report, and even that feels entirely unsatisfying because they can just as easily use another account. Couple this with the fact that even a permaban won't bring back your LP, and you get a situation where you feel as if the time you took to report was meaningless. What can be done to mitigate the large negative impact toxic players have on the overall community? Punishment is only one half of the equation, and there is nothing being done to compensate players negatively affected by feeders.

If Riot were harsher, it would end up putting away a lot more wrong-does but at the same time punish those who are mostly positive, but had a rough time. I believe Riot wants to emphasize reform and punishment.

To be honest, I hope you win more games. The game really isn't fun when people purposely try to make you lose. I'd just stick to normals for a while or do 5 man dynamics.

Sorry that you feel this way.

I got nothing else for you, besides the fact that your writing style is a nice change of pace from the normal drivel posted on the boards.

Good luck!

Not sure there is anything else to be done except maybe expedite the punishment process.

We already have incentives to behave (hex tech boxes and victorious skins)

You get feedback when someone you reported gets punished.

I would say enact a prisoners island scenario where all the toxic people only get grouped with each other and have long gueue times as well, but riot has already said they wont do this.

Personally riot needs to permaban trolls after 1 time of trolling. If there is a single irrefutable instance of someone trolling a game unless theyre 5qed, or the game mode begiins with n and ends with ormals, they need a permaban on their account. Or atleast ranked.

They can hire a think-tank with all that money they're getting to find a solution. Or they can actually use that team of neuroscientists/behavioral scientists (whatever) and have them find a solution.
