Remove Mastery Flashing

When a player consistently flashes his/her Lvl 4 or 5 mastery in game after a kill among other reasons, it causes for unnecessarily unsportsmanlike conduct as well as flat out BM. For this reason, I feel that the ability to flash your mastery level (CTRL + 6) should be removed and just keep mastery level to a pregame icon on your champion.

In the same vein of reasoning, all emote-spam/taunts should also be removed.

No...just...no. If you can't take constructive (as in civilized) taunting, then how on Earth can you cope with Bronze/Silver players asking you to commit suicide?

That's a fair point; I hadn't looked at it that way.

Though there's another reason: I just want to flash my Mastery Level 6 Skarner.

Why, oh why are so many players on this particular board so thin skinned? I've played sports my entire life, as a youth, in high school, in the military and in college. I can't recall a time when the psychological warfare of a little smack talk wasn't a part of competition. I'm not talking about obviously out of line things like the "kill yourself" squad. But, trying to throw an oponent off their mental game is rampart in most competition.

EXACTLY. I played football and basketball . If someone came crying to there coach or the ref about smack talk they will flat out laugh at you.

Removed no... I think they should just add a time limit so that it cannot be spammed. I'd say It should be altered so that it can only be displayed once every 120 seconds or something like that. This would cut down on the spamming.
