The Much Needed Rant
Hello League Players,
I have spent the past 4 years playing this not only challenging game, but very rewarding game as well. I am not one to turn to forums, this is actually my first post, but I have no where else to turn. With 1500+ wins under my belt I feel like I have a good handle on how the game is played and most of the mechanics of each champ I play. That being said, I have never been able to climb past silver 3. Actually, I have just recently (past few months) decided to try and climb the ranks. I was just a normal draft player that wanted to play the game for fun. I have been in lobbies with some of the best players and some of the most rage inducing individuals I have ever played with. So much so, I have been wanting to record my games because I feel like no one else can get individuals such as mine. Climbing elo seems nearly impossible because I believe the ranked system is sort of luck based. It seems either you get matched with laid back people who have a love for the game or bipolar kids who can't sit still for a mere 50 minutes. I don't know what I am trying to accomplish from this, but I am hoping to see that some individuals share my pain as a soloQ player. Given the amount of time I have put into this game I can't just turn my back on it. I love this game, but; simply put, the community is awful. The reporting system is wonky and no one sees it as a threat. I understand the riot crew has put countless hours in trying to improve the gameplay but, its time to improve this community. Possibly this can be fixed by basing matchups on wins, rather than elo. Because we all know for how many wins an individual has there are countless numbers of losses. This may be a worthless rant that no one sees or even cares about, but I hope some insight can be brought from this. I'm just another weekday league player. It's a place where I can login, find a match, and show my skill. But, without a proper mature team the fun factor of this game goes to 0. Thanks for spending time to read my rant and if you want add me! (sorry for any grammar mistakes).
Thanks, TheBear97
