I said "mucho gayo" "extremo gayo" and "gay" i get a report for verbal abuse. I was also saying in response to getting pulled by a as a joke in ARAM.

Calling someone gay as an abusive term, as referring them to retarded, is a slur. Gay as a descriptive term means happy or homosexual. There is nothing wrong with that. The thing about using the word "gay" is context. Not to mention not everyone is gay.

I was referring to the abusive term of "gay" when he said it as he most likely meant it. If you still wish to argue that using gay to describe something as stupid is not slurring, then I implore you to tell me why. He was most definitely meant it as stupid, as why would you call a Blitz grab "happy" or "homosexual"?

I use it because of the context of which he used it. You are just trying to find shitty ways to defend this guy when you really have no basis. Anyone with half a brain could realize from his explanation where he used it it was a slur.

If the word gay can morph from meaning joyful to meaning homosexual, then it can morph from meaning homosexual to meaning stupid/lame/etc. When someone uses the word gay as a derogatory, YOU might interpret that as an insult to gay people, but the person using it most likely does not intend it that way. You don't have any right to tell millions of people not to use a word the way that they collectively want to. Come to terms with the fact that people who use the word gay as a derogatory are not making any comment about homosexuals, they are just saying 'that's stupid.' If you can't acknowledge that it's your shortcoming.

His wording is weird... But the point is that exactly this synonymous use of "gay" and "stupid" is exactly the problem. Imagine if people starting saying "omg, that's so Joneecc" when something bad happened... would you honestly not feel insulted? And that is just a pretty random connotation I made up, whereas the use of "gay" as synonymous to "stupid" isn't just random. It's directly linked to how homosexuality was/is perceived as negative.
