Dear Riot,
I play a lot of ARAM games. They're short, sweet and the best way for me to get familiar with new champions. I really like this gameplay a lot. Its a little paradise of random fun.
HOWEVER.
Its been infected HEAVILY by accounts using second party programs to run champions and farm exp/ip.
Moderate their butts without mercy or maybe come up with a way to filter out these "bots." Puhlease. Halp.
Riot can detect the bots, and they will ban them. But there are many sources of bot accounts, while only Riot can detect and ban them. Basically, they get rid of what they can, but there will always be far more bot accounts being created than Riot can ban within a given period of time.
I see you're posting on a level 14 account. If this is also the one you're playing ARAM on, then seeing the bots makes sense. You'll encounter them a lot more at lower levels than higher levels. The good news is that they should be pretty easily escaped. It's easier if you play with one or two friends, too. Basically, you should just need to go on a short winning streak to raise your MMR enough that you're higher than the bots can possibly reach. It shouldn't take much, cause these bots should be going about 50/50.
I'm coming up on my 4000th aram game. I have yet to meet one of these bots of yours.
It sucks to encounter botters, but just be firm and decisive.
Report botters using the ingame report feature and send in a ticket as well to support as a follow up listing the names of the accounts to Riot.
if you suspect something is fishy, a report never hurts.
I trust the system and it hasn't failed me yet.
I guess I don't play ARAM when all the bots are on. Either that or bots are just as good as 30% of all players >.< I dont think Riot is willing to implement captcha security check every time someone tries to queue up for a match.
As @Zielmann mentioned below if you are playing on a lvl 14 account, then yes you are playing with others who are not ranked 30. So if you have an alt account that you created for the sole purpose of trying to own in ARAM or limit your champion pool then I guess this is just something that comes with that. If it is your main then as Zielmann mentioned, just try to find someone else to queue with and you should be ok.
"Get familiar with new champions" What? create custom games. How can ARAM in any way "help you get familiar with new champs" unless of course you don't know a single champion at all in which case it would be amazing. Other than that it is terrible.

Yes, please! ARAM has as of recent had way way way too many bots.
just wait for dominion to be gone. 3v3 and aram will be unplayable ;D i hope they remove 3v3/aram after dominion. all bots will be clustered in one gamemode :D will it be 3 bots vs 3 bots... or will it be all random all bots?
I'm pretty sure there was recently a huge wave of bans for people using third-party programs.
