Getting roasted by premade team

With the upcoming changes to draft mode and ranked, i'm afraid my game experience will get worst because of pre-made team

I have played with pre-made team in the past and my experience is that they always most likely to single out a person who is not in their pre-made. These pre-mades are unspeakably bias in judging the players. Some even went as far as to lie in all chat so the other team would report you because there are 4 people saying something bad about you.

There is also a problem with voting surrender in the game, it's 4 votes to 1 against you. The game is dictated by pre-made. I literally had a game where we were about to win and my team started to vote surrender.

With the changes coming to the ranked system in season 6 (people can queue with their premade, more than just 2 people) , this is fun for those who actually take rank serious, or it's going to be a party for trolls.

Therefore, I suggest and strongly request an option to avoid playing with pre-made team.

I think it is a psychological phenomenon that when you play with the people you know, you start to get over comfortable and act stupid for attention. Ever play a game , for example monopoly or risk with 4 other people, where they talk more than play ? Well, the game get long, and boring. Why play with someone who doesn't want to play the game, or end it. I had game where people just drag the game out, dancing by the nexus. But if you quit the game because of you can't take the troll anymore, then "you're reported"

There's some irony in there you might have missed. Regardless, it's like this: If you can recognize a premade, it will almost always be for negative reasons. You don't know how many premades there are that behave like regular players, because you don't actually notice they are premades in those circumstances. I do recall a redpost saying that toxicity is not more common in premades. It's just that those experiences stand out and, most often, are much worse than just having "regular" toxic players.

And I doubt that Riot will add a way to opt out. The reason being the section that I quoted: People are in fact, extremely biased against premades, which means queuetimes would likely go up quite a lot for premades... for no other reason than selective perception, negativity bias and confirmation bias.

Edit: The surrender vote might be an issue. For that reason I've always been for requiring an unanimous vote when there is a 4-man premade in the team; which in my opinion would be a more fair solution.

I agree with what cold cuts said about the surrender vote. Could lead to problems. Hope they implement the premade opt out though.

Good luck, my furry friend.

I suppose this begs the question "How do you know they are a premade?" Is there an icon that states this? A warning during champ selection?

I've played games with people who were actually well coordinated and just stuck together randomly. Some players are good at that sort of thing. Others cannot work as a team. But just because the group is playing well, that doesn't make them a premade. I'm not discounting the possibility. But it's a shot in the dark to see people working as a team and say "Oh, they're a premade." So is a frozen dinner.

Well, now that we have what is and is not a "premade..."

You're worried that two or more folks can persuade the other seven to gang up and report you for imagined issues. Riot doesn't see things like that. They don't see nine reports and issue nine punishments. It's all one instance per game. Besides, if you didn't do anything wrong, that's nine people who are going to have their reputation lowered when it comes to future reports.

For me, I don't report people just because someone says to. I don't know about anyone else out there.

For sure, I've had terrible experiences with premades before, and usually when I see 4 matching names in our champ select, my heart sinks a little bit because I know that the 5th man gets the shaft when things go wrong. That being said, there's always a part of me that hopes.. "Maybe with their superior communication and understand of each others' play styles, they'll carry me hard and this will be an easy win." I don't think I'd use an "opt out" button for premades if they put one in, but I can understand the appeal of one.

I definitely don't agree with the surrender vote thing though. 4 votes is a majority of the team. They should be able to decide if they want to surrender. Really, 3 votes is all it should take to surrender. I already hate being held hostage by 2 players in stomps; if I'm playing with three of my friends, I definitely don't want to be held hostage by one person.
