about being reported

yeah, i want to talk about that, i dont know why im getting reported for talking to people, im just telling them what i dont like about their gameplay not in a toxic way, it is just a dicussion and everyone turn me down and all report me and i get banned, but they are all harrassing me, how come i get banned for just talking in the game and trying to improve the gameplay of it and im getting banned but people harrassing in group and telling everyone to report you, are not punished, like im a reformed player and it makes me angry to see people unpunished like that, im just trying to make us play better as a team and everyone flaming me, i would just love some answer, cause right now im really confused about how people get punished by the system, thank you

If you have your chat logs, I can help you figure out what may be causing punishments. I can say that reports don't count against you unless problematic behavior is found in your chat log, but, without that log, I can't really comment on what the issue may be.

You wouldn't know whether or not the players got punished. Odds are very high that, if they were flaming you, they did get punished.

And, if you're going to say you rely on that "A player you reported..." pop-up, no. That's extremely unreliable and hardly ever shows up.

As for you getting punished for trying to talk about other people's play - perhaps you might not be constructive enough, and, another thing - perhaps you might be overbearingly critical of your teammates? Constantly pointing out little flaws and whatnot. It's one thing to try and help another player improve, but it's another thing entirely if you're just poking and prodding at every misstep you see.

But, like The Djinn said, we don't have any info to run on, so we can't really make any certain conclusions without your chat logs, if you have them.
