Riot Banning for "Arguing with Team"

Hi everyone. I have been recently 2 week banned for arguing with my team in one game after not typing at all for 30 games. As you can see below, the best thing in League is to just NEVER TYPE. Community is toxic and so is their support. The ban system is terrible, the real trolls did not get banned. I got banned instead of the soft inters. It is my day off of work and I can't even play League the game that I supported by spending 100's of dollars in it.

Here is Riot Response after I open a support ticket:

From checking the logs, the following were some of the flags that led to the ban: -Arguing with your team -Asking for reports

These negative behaviors are unsportsmanlike and are not tolerated in the League Chat. For that reason, the 2 Week Ban is warranted and cannot be lifted.

I advised Riot that I have had good behavior for over 30 games in a row by not typing at all. Their response again:

30+ Games isn't enough games to de-escalate down the penalty ladder as from experience it takes hundreds of games.

Never said this guy deserves a perma. I didn't whine about my bans and didn't call out Riot for their "shitty" system. I'm honor 2 with checkpoint 2 now, so I have every right to say what I said. Especially if you are an adult. I'm a 15 year old kid so it's normal for me to go through stages.

This all should be telling you why he got banned. Constantly asking for reports when 1 report = 9. You can identify passive aggressiveness in some of the comments. Accusing her of "soft inting"

I've been banned for straight up asking for reports constantly in 1 game and I took it in and didn't whine and cry about how shitty Riot's system is. If you are seriously saying an adult can behave like this when setting a bad example for kids, rethink about it.

It's not harassment, these are public boards used for discussion. If you don't want someone making a comment, don't bring your complaints to a public forum.

Looks like you have fun getting on these forums to see people banned for minor cases of toxicity, judging by your forum history. That is 1 game out of the 700+ I played this season that I was banned for. You are all heartless on here and twisted people looking for enjoyment by belittling others.

I just don't believe this should be a bannable offense. It is almost like Riot wants to lose players.

It sounds like you are toxic. I was being attacked by whole team as jg. I told mid they were AFK. He is account sharing and boosting, he tried to blame me for loss. I told him he was afk during our invade and that he could of assisted.

As far as your deflection onto me (as you've tried to do with your former teammates, others in this thread, etc.), screaming that other players are toxic doesn't change what you did and won't convince Riot to lift your ban (which you know full well is deserved).

The board rules differ from the game rules. Both in the rules themselves and the thresholds that are allowed.

Arguing is going to happen on the board. It's inevitable when people have different opinions and are trying to argue their point. So long as people are not personally insulting each other and are instead at most attacking the person's reasoning, justification, as so on with their own reasoning and argument it's fine.

But when you're in league your primary goal is always: Win the game. It's not the time or place to constantly criticize someone over something that can't be taken back. If you have a problem with their behavior you mute them if you don't want to see their chat/pings anymore, and report them if you believe their poor behavior worthy of being reported.

If they are actually intentionally feeding, arguing with them is not going to lead to anything. A person intentionally feeds to piss someone off, proving that it's getting a reaction out of you encourages it.

And you have gotten community feedback. We've told you multiple times about the specific behavior you engaged in that was unacceptable. Your response has been to label anyone who agrees with your ban as "toxic" and "hypocritical" and "unconstructive." You think that other people having unacceptable behavior in your games has anything to do with your punishment, and you think that other people disagreeing with you has anything to do with... anything.

The behavior you are exhibiting right now is why you are banned. This is your community feedback. If your only response is "I know you are but what am I," you're headed for a perma, so if you want to keep the account, cut it out. That's my advice to you. Take it or leave it.

Your response has been to label anyone who agrees with your ban as "toxic" and "hypocritical" and "unconstructive." You think that other people having unacceptable behavior in your games has anything to do with your punishment, and you think that other people disagreeing with you has anything to do with... anything.

The behavior you are exhibiting right now is why you are banned. This is your community feedback. If your only response is "I know you are but what am I," you're headed for a perma, so if you want to keep the account, cut it out. That's my advice to you. Take it or leave it.

Not sure why people would tell you to contact support after you made it pretty clear that you came to the boards to contest what support already told you.

Support wasn't apologetic about it but they didn't mince words, they told you that they looked over the case and identified what sort of behavior got you punished. Telling you to only type "GJ" or mute all to prevent being banned would just be incorrect, as telling someone "gj" every time they make a mistake is hardly improving your behavior. Muting is also not a solve-all to remain unbanned, as you're not preventing yourself from talking in chat.

Sona's feedback agreed with your position, because they didn't read your arguments and assumed that you were just trying to help your team in a positive way without doing anything unacceptable (like calling for reports).

I see you have the definition of "constructive" confused with that of "sympathetic." Constructive feedback helps someone improve or accomplish something by providing information on how to achieve that goal. Sympathy doesn't add anything to a conversation, but it can feel good to receive a sympathetic reply.

If you're trying to get unbanned when your ban was for harassing teammates, it's probably not a good idea to harass other boards users.

Soft inting is trolling that can't be detected like spam pinging me as if I'm dumb. Then ping me to go in, act like you are going in and walk back without auto while I die 1v1. Then playing an emote with a smile face. It shows you baited me to dying. Soft inting is walking around the map and letting your team play the game alone as if you are afk. I am sure you have seen soft inting. Why are you so toxic? Did I hurt your feelings somehow and I don't know? What is wrong? Please don't be toxic.

No it's not. That's ping spamming. The two are not the same. And ping spamming is totally detectable.

Soft inting is walking around the map and letting your team play the game alone as if you are afk.

So you're telling me, your Ashe did the second most damage to players on your team while she just walked around not playing? And while wandering around the map, only managed to die in her lane? Your story just... doesn't really seem to add up too well.

Also, that's not soft inting. I'm not sure if you know this, but inting is short for "Intentional Feeding". What you're describing is not feeding.
