AFKs in Ranked: A Polite Inquiry and Request.

Greetings, all.

This post is more of a request regarding The Climb. I had originally posted this in the wrong board, and was redirected to this one (thanks for that).

I am presently a Bronze II ADC/Support Main, crawling my way slowly up the ladder. Unfortunately, I waited until the last minute to place last season, which ended up being a foolish idea. I have my off days, but overall, I am a patient person who tries to keep things upbeat in the team.

More to the point, as I am trying to climb, I occasionally get situations whereby I don't get to ADC, the ADC AFKs or DCs, and I end up alone in the botlane (such as during a recent Nami match; screenshot linked above). I've won 4v5s before, but a well-organized and skilled enemy team can make it quite difficult. I would like to request that there is no loss of LP for the remaining players when you lose due to a DC / AFK on your own team. Obviously, a "Loss Prevented" here is overkill, as it is still a loss, but it would be nice for the entire community, I believe, if we were not punished because someone never even showed up to the party. Would this be plausible to implement in the future?

I haven't scoured the boards to see if this question has already been asked, although I'm sure it has, at some point. Just thought I would express my own interest in this, in the hopes that we can make some positive changes to keep the ranked experience both competitive and fun.
