I'm just wondering how often to expect things like this in the coming future (and what to do about it other than suck it up).
Essentially, I queued twice with the same player. The first time, he was set for Top, yet requested mid. Now, he just goes ahead and takes it. (No, I wasn't actually playing Yorick mid, hehe).

Yorick mid is legit if played right. I've got a friend that did it a few times and pulled off a "wth" from the enemy mid laner as they failed to kill him repeatedly and kept being forced back in lane. It was hilarious
I personally haven't encountered that problem though. My advice is that if someone is insisting on it, take your champ you'd take mid top instead unless they'd really have a bad day up there. Sometimes for trolls, the best thing to do is just accommodate if it isn't too much skin off your nose. I let a guy play support last night even though I wanted it and he went 0-12-2. Oh well, at least I got to practice CSing on Lucian when the fed Trist wasn't diving me =P
