Nope. Might be a good idea to warn your team though, so they know they have to ping, but even that is not a requirement.

This is one of the problems with the League behavior system. It's too general and while you may see not talking as a way to not flame people, the people you muted will see it as someone who won't work with the team.

You actually can be a really negative player all the time and not get punished. I wouldn't worry about it.

The people who get punished are ranting mad and have mental problems. Normal people do not go beyond the 10 game ban.

depending on the situation it can be. if someone is trying to call plays or ping. and you arent even responding to them, it can very easily tilt that person

People you can mute the game when it start to when it finishes, as long as you don't break the TOS you have nothing to worry about!
