So I’m playing a blind pick in silver and I decided to play Gragas. I asked my bot Vayne and Nami to leash me a they were a duo queue. Vayne ended up stealing my red buff so me being the bigger player decided it’s okay and pinged them to help me do golems. They both immediately afked so I decided might as well do whatever until the game can be remade right? Nah, remaking wasn’t an option because they actually played until the remake window point, so 10 minutes later I have a good 9 deaths they decide to reconnect the game is way past the point of no return. Anivia is actually laning in mid so i just completely avoided twisted fate the enemy mid. Let her lane . The Yasuo had began feeding as well 1/4running in the enemy teams topside jungle sitting in bushes had already given up. Could not be clearer that it was a gg next game. Anivia died once and started executing herself to jungle camps and bot came back 10 minutes into the game and immediately died multiple times then ran around in base. The whole team was inting but for whatever reason my account which has never even been chat banned. Level 5 honor got a 14 day suspension. I’m asking if you think that’s fair or not ?Cause I sure as hell don’t.

Well yeah, intentional feeding carries a 14-day ban when Riot detects it, do you expect Riot to hand out a chat ban for something that has nothing to do with chat? The next time they catch you intentionally feeding it will be a perma-ban.

If the whole team was intentional feeding, how is it that at worst they had 7 deaths (with 6 kills) while you had 17 deaths (with no kills or assists)? You were also the only one who started only building troll items about four an a half minutes in.

so even if my team typed in chat open mid and I actually did it I get banned and the others get a bad game? That is ridiculous. especially for a first time offender in a normal game. where everyone else did the same thing.

Intentional feeding is a 14-day ban for the first time and a permanent ban the next time you are caught. At no point are you allowed to intentionally feed no matter what your teammates are doing. It being a normal game makes no difference as well.

Besides, they didn't do the same thing and your story is full of holes.

You claim that they were gone for 10 min, but they successfully bought items (and killed minions) at 6 and a half min. Given that buff monsters spawn 1:30 into the game, if they afk'ed the instant red spawned (and you somehow killed it instantly) they would have been gone half as long as you claim. Before they even got back you were already selling your items to buy troll items. When they returned your score was 0/2/0, from two deaths after you sold your jungle item for boots of mobility. Your teammates that agreed to "open mid" seemed to still be fighting a fair amount (and getting kills). Anivia even ended with a positive k/d/a, Yasuo came pretty close as well.

Heck, the two players that left still did more damage to enemy champions than you.

The ADC didn't die until after 8 min in, the support didn't die until after 10 min in.

They returned at 6:30.

At no point in the game was yasuo at 1/6.

He had two kills before he got his 5th death. Only one of his kills was inside the base and it was roughly at the mid inhibitor.

If they got reported for the same thing you did, odds are fairly high they may well have gotten banned too. Opening lanes is straight-up against the rules - it's the worst case of defeatism and giving up, and, on top of that, whether or not you and your team all agree to it...

The enemy team exists too.

If you want the match to end, use the Surrender feature, but otherwise, play the game out.

Well, the 14-day ban is the only available punishment to give for a first-offense for gameplay-related misbehavior. Count yourself lucky you get that much.

As for the gamemode...Hate to break it to you, but the rules apply to every gamemode except Customs. It doesn't matter if it's Co-Op Vs. AI, Normal, Ranked, ARAM, or RGMQ - the rules apply to all of them.

if there only 3 of us for 10 minutes am I supposed to sit there and actually try to stop them from ending the game sooner? or do I just mess around until the surrender vote can happen. the enemy team complained the moment they had 10 minutes to sit there and hit all the bot turrets. literally did not ruin the game for anyone.

Yes. Even if you're the last person left on your team, you're expected to play it out until a Surrender vote can happen. Whether you like it or not, them's the 8r8ks.

And besides - you could probably develop some worthwhile skills playing so hard on the back foot. You don't gain anything from opening a lane, throwing up your hands and saying "I quit!".

Sucks that happened over a blind pick game, but you probably would be better off just messing around in your base than inting, if there is really 2 afk and a feeding yasuo, and you're behind from the beginning.. Yes there is almost no way in hell you will win that. But remember that your actions make who you are. You were probably pissed off so you shouldn't give into that kinda behavior out of pure principle. You are better than that. Give yourself a break, and best of luck to you when you return. Mute all. And do not actively perform negative actions no matter what.
