So this is my problem. If someone trolls someone by stealing a lane, or egging them on with trash talk, and the player decides to give up . Why is it the player who gets banned and never the troll? When will riot understand that, most players become toxic because other players harass them or steal lanes they called?
You report them, make sure that you specify in your report what they did, and they will get banned. Given dynamic queue, it is far easier for them to track that sort of thing w/re to lane stealing.
Judging by how you're banned (given your Honors were reset), I'd say Riot did a pretty good job of handling the troll here.

I honestly believe Riot needs to review some of these games instead of automated bans. Most of the things happen in league are because of "cause and effect". Fact is, if players stop messing with others, less things would happen. As I said before, some people get banned for giving up even tho they're bullied by others.

The way current enforcement works, it's encouraging trolling by preventing people a verbal outlet for frustration (words), so they'll just take it to the next step, quietly trolling your game.
When its the actions, not the words, that will destroy gameplay whether you let it or not. At least with words you can choose to ignore/mute them and keep playing. If someone is trolling there's not a whole lot you can do about the effect it has.
Even after they steal your lane, they will report you. Other players of the team say, even tho he stole your lane, you should play another role, even after you picked. In that case the team becomes your enemy because they say report you because you don't agree.
