My friend is boosted by his platinum friend. I know this because i watched him do it. He is bragging about it as well. Is there anything i can do?

Ignore. Who cares really. Not like you will lose anything.

Why would you do anything if he is your friend?

First offence in boosting results in a 14 day ban, if caught again, perma. You might want to double check with Riot Support or something, but I'm sure that's how it goes down. So I think it's fair to let them have a taste of what happens when you cheat. Report them, let them have a 14 day ban (assuming it's their first time and they haven't just come out of a 14 day ban, otherwise it will escalate into a perma).

Or if you really don't wanna because friendship is magic, don't worry, just watch them as they drop their elo in the elo bracket they clearly don't belong. And if they call for "help" again, I don't think you'd have qualms about reporting in that in, as they clearing aren't learning their lesson.

Is he arrogant?

i think you should report him if you feel that it's the right thing to do but you shouldn't put too much faith in the ideea that a punishment will happen.

i've had a friend who was getting boosted and i reported her for it. i provided all manner of evidence. no punishment. i've had same friend intentionally lose games to get to bronze and she was even streaming it. no punishment

Are they duoing together? Or is one playing on the other's account?

It kinda sucks when it's a friend that is doing this. I have a friend that routinely tries to get himself boosted up out of Bronze. He doesn't let someone play on his account now, not sure if he did in the past, but he does it with the duo queuing. The only problem is that as soon as the booster isn't playing with him, he immediately drops back down.

Usually one of the guys in our group will confront him about it and tell him that he's busted, and if he doesn't stop, they will report him for it.

If you want his account banned because he's annoying and arrogant then he's not really your friend is he? Submit a support ticket if he's some actually just some guy you don't like.

I mean the only way to do anything is to report him. You cant do that unless you are in a game with him. If its as obvious as you say it is then its clear he will get ban. But you need to report him for anything to actually happen. You can just say it here on the forums and think something will happen thats not how this works!
