Ribbon Reforming Challenge ( Reworked and upgraded level 20 challenge)

Hey guys, I thought of a way to give players that love the game but got permanently banned, a way to reform. I would suggest a system where someone with a permanent ban can create a new account to level 30, and try to get a ribbon, and keep it for a certain time, however long riot would think the behavioral expectations would be met with . Getting a Ribbon would most likely meet behavioral expectations as for players would need to try extra hard to be positive, a great teammate, humble in victory and gracious in defeat . I think players who actually love the game and don't want to quit, but have troubles keeping their fingers off the keyboard and just want to improve their behavior, and get rewarded with an un- permanent ban should have this option. This should not be a problem for riot, because they wan't to get rid of toxic players and this system would actually get rid of the old toxicity in a player and bring up the good in them, and also riot could get a little more income from them. Let's be honest for a moment, everyone gets bad toxic thoughts once in a while, and some players have trouble keeping away from their keyboard. The only flaw that I could think of is having players fake their way into getting a ribbon, or pay someone else to do it for them. And once their account gets unbanned they may be toxic once more, but I think this won't happen because anyone who actually goes the trouble of doing this would be someone who really thinks they improved themselves and/or values their account to some extent. Please make this an option, I would be forever grateful. Thanks for all your time taken to check this ticket and time reading this. Best of luck improving this game to any riot members reading. I'm open to any suggestions, improvements, and any other comments.

TL;DR: Make a system where players make an account and get a ribbon, keep it for a certain time so that they may get their main account unbanned.

Sincerely, Pinfox

(PS: My brother got banned and he has made an account where I see he greatly improved his behavior, he gets honored frequently and has not gotten reported or punished once and it saddens me to see that the account he has worked on and spent on in the past few years is banned because of how before he had problems keeping off the keyboard, and he didn't express his anger outside of the game so it all went to his chat.)

BEFORE YOU COMMENT CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING: THIS IS NOT JUST FOR YOU, YOU ARE NOT SPECIAL, THIS SHOULD NOT BE VIEWED AS IF IT WAS FOR YOU, IT SHOULD BE VIEWED AS IF YOU WERE A RIOT MEMBER OR A BANNED PLAYER WHO HAS IMPROVED THEIR BEHAVIOR AND IS WILLING TO PUT EFFORT AND TO REFORM IN ORDER TO BE REWARDED. A RIOTERS VIEW: MORE PLAYERS UNBANNED AND INSPIRING BOTH GOOD BEHAVIOR AND BEING HONORABLE, POSSIBLY SOME CASH. A PLAYER WHO HAS BEEN BANNED BUT HAS IMPROVED VIEW: GET YOUR ACCOUNT BACK, INSPIRE OTHER PLAYERS TO BECOME HONORABLE THEREFOR REDUCING AMOUNT OF TOXIC PLAYERS ( FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO HAD PROBLEMS DEALING WITH OTHER PLAYERS WHO ARE TOXIC AND RESPONDING BACK IN A TOXIC MANNER THEREFOR GETTING BANNED) REFORM AND GET REWARDED FOR IT

At first I was feeling like this was a good idea, but really it's no better than the level 20 challenge, worse even. The level 20 challenge only required people to be neutral and they still couldn't succeed. This shares that exact same problem except that it holds an even higher standard. Some perma banned players will make new accounts and there isn't really any way to stop that, but I don't think they should ever be encouraged to do so. By the time someone gets permanently banned there just isn't much hope. Ya, some can and will still change after that point, but the overwhelming majority wont.

I'm using myself as an example because I'm a player who was permanently banned and who has taken steps towards his own reform, the exact kind of player you're pitching this idea for.

I'm being realistic enough to tell you that Riot is very unlikely to do it is all.

Also, being an exceptional player doesn't mean anything if you simply don't receive honors. A friend of mine who's been playing this game for at least 3 years and doesn't have a mean bone in his body, and is quite enjoyable to play with any against, has never had a single ribbon ever.

You think I'm "not interested in a second chance" just because I'm telling you how unlikely this idea is to happen? I don't know why you're being so hostile in the process of citing a reform plan for honorable players. That seems a bit counter-productive from my end.

Would I like if Riot implemented a plan like this? Of course I would, I'd be lying if I said otherwise. I'd rather not get my hopes up too much, though, is all.

To add to that, I have very much been showing my intent to reform. I don't mean to keep making this "about me", but you've put me in a position to prove my own point.

Both are my threads about how and why players should reform and not get themselves banned, or dwell on said bans. Instead of just griping that I lost my account, I'm working to try and keep other people from losing theirs.

That said, I'd appreciate if you wouldn't assume that I don't want any second chances. Thanks.

Getting a ribbon is exceedingly rare even for well-behaved players, though. I don't think I'd seen more than like... two of them in the last year that I'd played.

If you are going to comment, read the whole thing.

How do you tell if someone who was banned has improved at all before issuing the challenge, though?

I mean, I've come back to this board a month after my own ban to try and help people prevent or cope with their bans, but are my words alone worth enough?

No. If they get perma'd, that means they used up all their chances. They do not deserve any more.

As much as I'd be interested in trying such a challenge, it's highly unlikely to happen. It would kinda defeat the point of a 'permanent' ban.

I've settled for trying to help people here instead, since it's less daunting than trying to replace an account of almost 3 years. The grind's just too much, especially for someone like me who doesn't really marathon the game.
