Permanent Account Suspension

Kildrid,

Your account has received a permanent suspension following an extensive audit of in-game behavior within recent League of Legends matches.

Here are some chat logs that were identified as negative by other players in the community.

gg
one hit
now im done
gg
and shen dies
just report him
im gona afk farm
reported so hard
steals top
than calls me the n word
report plz
yes fed the strongest cahmp in game more

lmaoOOoo
so i pick yas top
and go jungle
because shen trolls
and my team rages me
lmao
welcome to league
pro tip
dont play at night
ever
ty shen
ty for trolling
"why pick shen"
"cuz i won last game"
shens got mobis at least...

Your behavior means you are no longer welcome in the League of Legends community.

Explanation kept very brief, I first picked yasuo top, 4th pick picks shen, so i go jungle to be nice. I didnt receive a leash and shen dies first blood to jax top. I told my team to report shen and he calls me the "N" word repeatedly. I than get invaded two more times while cho came to me and spammed laugh while i 2v1 fought his mid and their jungle right in front of him. At this point my bot starts flaming me etc, as well as the cho gath duo mid. You can see the chat yourselves. My account was unbanned for 4 hours before it was permanently banned. What is this system and game turned to? Maybe some community feedback can enlighten me or help my case. I really feel like this is completely unfair. I was being so nice every game and than I got trolls and tried to deal with it the best way that I could.

I mean, really? The first thing you say in the game is gg?

Followed by 5 report calls, a ban threat, insults, and a significant amount of additional negativity?

Yeah, I think it's pretty obvious that the case was punishable.

Basically, they've changed the way the banning system works. Since patch 5.18, they're banning people who are mildly negative over a long period of time. You should've gotten a chat restriction or previous ban, but even if you didn't the system wouldn't have banned you if you hadn't been consistently acting like that.

Deserved.

You give up on the game from the very first line of chat, constantly call for reports against teammates, complain the entire game, and keep harassing people. How exactly does all that help out your team? Certainly punishable behavior. Does the behavior in this one game specifically merit a permaban? Probably not. But here's the thing: that permanent ban was based on far more than just that one game. Permabans are handed out after a review of many of your games, where you show a consistent trend of bad behavior.

On top of all that, you should have received other warnings and punishments prior to this, which should have been your wake-up call to clean up your act. Clearly, you didn't do that, so your ban escalated to a permanent ban because you've shown no intent on reforming your behavior.

I got trolls and tried to deal with it the best way that I could.

No, the best way you could have dealt with the trolls was to mute them and report them after the game. You know that. The trolls will get punished, no need to drag yourself down with them. You also know you don't get permabanned for one or two occasional incidents, but a pattern of behavior.

My guess, you've been toxic before and you threatened to AFK farm.

Samus7211/15/2015, 7:23:27 PM2 votes

My instincts tell me that one game of bad behavior does not get you a permanent ban. Unless you're hacking or something really, really bad.

Of course, I may be wrong. I don't quite understand how everything works here.

Here's what I see in this chat log:

  1. Constantly calling GG from the very beginning/start of the game onward.
  2. Lots or report threats directed towards your teammates.
  3. Just lots of general negativity in general.
  4. You threatening to afk farm basically.

My Advice:

  1. There is never a need to call GG from the moment the game starts. It hasn't even started yet so how will you know that the games over if you won't even try? This just gives the impression that you've already given up from the very start, and that you're intent on forcing your teammates into a 4v5 situation there as well. At least play the game out before saying comments like that.
  2. Don't call for reports or threaten to report someone, ever. This is seen/viewed as harassment by both Riot and the general community as well and as such opens you up to being valid reported by your fellow players in that game as well also. This is especially true for report threats against people. If you must report someone then do it after the game without calling for it in the chat.
  3. So Shen died once in the top lane and gave up First Blood as well, big deal. Yes he was wrong to call you the N word (if he really did do that of course) but he wouldn't have if you didn't start being a Negative Nancy and call for reports against him. Being negative to someone serves no purpose other than to tell everyone else that you're a jerk and to have those players that you were negative to most likely perform worse than they already were playing at that point in time.
  4. AFK Farm just because your way wasn't given? Really? This is a team game and as such you need to work together with your team to achieve victory. Now if you were trying to split-push while your teammates tried to distract the enemy team and everyone knew that then that's one thing, but from the chat logs this doesn't seem to be the case here at all whatsoever. Work with your team, not against them.

My Verdict: Punish.

P.S. You got a permaban because you refused to change your behavior for the better during your last 3 punishments that you got (i.e. the 10- and 25-game chat restrictions and the 2-week ban as well). You also weren't punished for just this one game alone, but for multiple games as a whole, including this one. The current Reform Cards only show one game, but in order to be punished you need to be valid reported across multiple games, which you obviously were right here.

I wish you the best of luck in all of your future endeavors and hope that this teaches you to not be a jerk to people when things don't go your way.

Perm ban for that? ROFL. I've seen people be way more toxic and not get banned. I Honestly don't agree with the ban and will get downvoted for saying so, but I've seen hundreds of chat logs that deserved to be banned but this isn't one.

ShaftyMegee11/16/2015, 1:02:58 AM1 votes

Idk bro, you were asking for bans, asking for reports. You aren't an admin, nor are you able to ask other people to report someone for you
