Does this really deserve a perm ban?

I'm willing to admit i got heated , but nothing of this really blew up into a all out battle, In my Honest eyes this looks like a barely heated argument and more like 2 frustrated players, does this really deserve a permanent ban and off one game? I've never been chat restricted before.(Have been banned once 14 days for one game i got like this) Didn't notice the game was so sensitive now..

Anyway, Not here to cry just here to discuss, since when bans become this harsh? I remember people being way more toxic than this and still playing games.

The person who reported me was being way worse than i was and i submitted a report, viewing their profile on my alt(to see if honors reset) shows they're still playing...

Afterwards i just got frustrated for a while but ended up coming to a conclusion and muting..

I understand that i should of just muted and moved on, but i guess i got tired of queueing into salt every game and became a little bit salty on my own.

Guess it's time to quit if you get banned for being like a 4/10 on the bad scale.

I miss chat restrictions, i don't really deserve to be perm banned if all i wanted was my team to stop fighting.

Did you have a 14-day ban before?

You have a history of toxicity, that led to your permaban. It wasn't just this game.

You understand that you should have just muted and reported, but you argued. So the punishment, while harsh, Is justified.

I suggest taking a break from league to detox, and come back with a clean slate and an open mind. When you are ready, feel free to make a new account and join my group here

You're on extremely thin ice once you get a 14-day ban. It takes quite a few games to get back on good terms with the system.

Here's a chart showing how the punishment system works. Each punishment goes up a tier, and it takes several months to go down one (consistent play with no legitimate reports against you can make it faster, occasional legitimate reports against you can make it longer). You can fast track yourself to the 14 day ban, but overall severity of the offense does not adjust the punishment. Riot does this so people who are consistently negative and not learning from smaller punishments can actually get a permanent ban.

I don't know exactly when this started, but if I had to guess at a minimum it's been going on for a year.
