Leaving Queue and Lagging Out Leaver Buster
Play video while reading Recently I have come into some extreme frustration with how easy it is to receive a timed penalty of absurd length that may even include a loss of LP is the situation so be it. When I am away at university and I play League with my little brother sometimes we d/c, this happens. What is not cool is when we have to wait 20 minutes in between queueing up for 5 games. League matches can sometimes last a long time as it is even with the new shifts towards quicker games. There needs to be some type of sensitivity towards disconnecting because you can try to reboot your pc but by the time you get back into the match the penalty has already been applied to you. When you are actually in queue and you see the bans and picks before the match begins. If you see that they have a Master Yi, a Mundo, a Garen, a Soraka, and a Miss Fortune on their team and you have a guy on your squad going AD Sona top and AD Jungle Malzahar; you should have the right to back out of that match. Especially without getting penalized for making an educated decision about which matches you choose to spend your time on. I understand a 5 minute ban from queue. I find that to be very fair for what I did by leaving that lobby. But losing my HARD EARNED LP and receiving a timed ban and an extended time ban if you do it within the next like 10 matches seems extreme excessive if you ask me. These bans and everything in the past was never as strict as it was and was primarily tribunal bans. I do not know when the change happen but it has turned into a jail like penalty system with Leaver Buster and I guess Riot itself. Yet they are free as a teenager with their champion creations lately but so anal about penalties. This is supposed to be fun, stop making it hard to play with my brother. A quick fix to this would be to have no LP loss with Queue dodging but keeping the 5 minute timer and I believe there should be a sensitivity to disconnecting connections applied to leaver buster and not just acting like you ended the game.
