Banned for trying to make peace?

So I know there are a ton of "I got banned for no reason halp rito" posts. But here we go because I feel my current ban is extremely unjust.

First off let me admit, yes I have been chat suspended in the past for being toxic, I understand that and I've been actively working on avoiding that and finding other ways to deal with the intense competitive nature of the game.

I was just banned for my last game. It was 3v3 on TT. At the start I asked "Hey, are you guys new?" (Both of the other 2 were in a party.) I assume they thought I was verbally attacking them or judging their play when I was just curious since it's low tier play and alot of the players are new. They instantly responded with "LMFAO FUCK OFF" and proceeded to flame for the rest of the game. I tried ALL game to make peace, I apologized for offending them, I never used profanity, I explained that I wasn't judging their gameplay but simply asking a harmless question. I knew that I had to stop being toxic so I did everything in my power to try to just make peace so we could have a friendly game and win. They refused to listen and instead just continued to berate me. After awhile I simply asked in all chat if they would report the other 2 for their toxicity. Then it got escalated ofc so they increased their flaming. I tried muting them a few times but thats not a solution in a game that relies on communication. So I unmuted and continued to try to make peace.

Anyway long story short I stayed friendly with them the entire game, tried to make peace, and got banned for being toxic.

I've spent a good amount of money on this game and I've taken my punishment for previous toxic behavior, now that I try to change it I get baned?

If a red could comment and let me know (in the least snobby, sarcastic way that you can) what exactly I did wrong I'd appreciate it.

TL;DR Rito banned for trying to not be toxic

EDIT: Also found out the 2 flaming all game were not banned, the hell man?

Asking for reports is actually a punishable offense itself, since generally doing so is an act of bullying other players. Not saying that's how it was in your particular case, but it is how it is.

That said, making a thread about it here won't accomplish much. You'd be better off sending in a support ticket.

If you feel you were wrongfully banned this is not the place you want to post. The boards can only help you understand why you were punished by pointing things out in chat logs.

Make a support ticket and have someone at Riot review your ban.

logs = Proof without that this is just like everyone else that has something to hide even 1 word can get you banned if its the wrong word sorry but no logs = no proof

No, Riot's system banned you because you had recently been on a 14 day suspension and then you decided to ask people to report each other.

Begging for reports is a punishable offense. This is because the system doesn't care how many times in one game someone gets reported. All that matters is that a report is filed. 1 report in a match is worth just as much as 9. The system is designed this way to prevent premades from holding solo players hostage. All asking for reports does is piss people off, and so it itself is reportable.

Sorry this ended up this way, but I wouldn't count on getting the account restored. Best of luck with your next account. :(

Also I'm going to assume you were edging them on, or instigating, but I cannot be certain because you did not provide logs. Don't forget, I'm gonna assume you did this, asking for a report in all chat is a punishable offense. I don't understand how you expect anyone to help you, or a red to even care to respond, if you're not sharing the whole truth, or manipulating it.

This is your mistake.

Don't try all game. That is spam. Try once. If it is obvious they are not receptive to your appeals just mute them, finish the match, and report afterwards.
