I am very curious how many accounts you have banned on NA servers. I know the number has to be insanely high and your legit banning people for bad language witch in my opinion is pathetic but thats beside the point. I wonder if its over 1 million, how many until u decide to pull your head from your rear? how many until we officially all go play a different game? how many until your team is fired? Just curious i know i wont get a real response but hey we sh** post here because thats all your game is atm right.

As Riot claims that 0.006% of players gets banned, some players have multiple accounts (we'll say 1.5 banned accounts per banned player) and League's total playerbase is about 80 million at any point in time (which likely means over 300 million lifetime players, easily) -- that would put us at about 27,000 banned accounts worldwide.

Now, these are pretty rough numbers, and it could easily be 5x this amount, but I would be surprised if it were significantly more than a couple hundred thousand at MOST.

If you assume the statistics Riot gives are false, then this thread has no value, is that heavily implies you will not trust any answer that does not fall into the range you have already decided the correct answer must lie berween.

You can't blame anyone for believing the .006% number is inaccurate given that it hasn't been updated in years. Maybe it was true when they first started using it a few years ago, but I really doubt that number hasn't changed over the years.

I can't blame anyone for wondering if it is slightly higher or lower, but I can say that assuming it is a flat out lie seems incorrect. If we take the reasonable assumption that that number is rounded to a significant digit, it could fluctuate anywhere between .00055 and .000649 before you would need to update it, and that's assuming that you want it accurate to within that one thousandth of a percent. So the percentage of banned players could have increased or decreased by up to 10% before that number would need to change, and on this large-scale that's actually a very significant change

You'll notice in my math above I said that mine result could be off by about a factor of 5 or 10....ut even then it wouldn't be as high as some players like to think.

I can see where you might think i wont trust any answer, but what if i have 26,999 banned accounts and thus by knowing this stat can prove riot is lying, i mean it wouldnt be the first time lol. then am i to believe that only 1 other person has had an account ban? me and tyler1? im just having some fun of course thnx for the response. although i really wish they would give us freedom of speech in the game and ban the actual players who deserve a ban.

Well then you have a lot of time, and have thrown off my estimate. :P

Thought I'd say the important thing isn't the number of ACCOUNTS banned, but rather the number of PLAYERS. One player on 500 accounts is still just one player -- just a persistent one.

although i really wish they would give us freedom of speech in the game and ban the actual players who deserve a ban.

The majority of the community agrees that toxic behavior deserves a ban if it doesn't sufficiently change. The Tribunal proved this, and it's why we have the system we do.

You also do have Freedom of Speech -- just not freedom of CONSEQUENCES RELATED TO YOUR SPEECH. You will not face legal action due to your speech, but you may be banned from continuing to use Riot's servers.
