THEREALMIGHTYZEP's OPINION

Dear friends,

I was playing the one game I have time for after work last night. For some reason my ISP dropped briefly and I had to reset by modem and router to fix the problem. All troubleshooting aside it took maybe 10 mins to get my computer reset, internet connection working and active, and League loaded. When I came back it loaded me right back into game. I thought that was the end of it, however when the game ended. I received a suspension for 5 games in a lower queue.

I have to say this is the last straw with your company.

I came back from a different temporary ban of similar nature a few months ago. Since then I have tried to have beyond average behavior. I have coached, encouraged, and mentored others. I have defended the game infront of people that would otherwise label it a child's game and a complete waste of time.

Will I am care enough to say anything positive about your game?

I feel strongly that punishment should fit the crime, and that is just not what is happenning. I get the feeling you won't even look through the history of my account or consider the fact I've spent hard earned money to play. I have not violated any rule or term or condition. Instead, I am being punished for trying to be a customer of yours. This is a fundamental flaw in your business model and should immediately be addressed. Otherwise your customer base will only consist of children. You cannot expect adults with families and professional careers to accept a system that is desinged to automaticly punish me for a situation I HAD NO CONTROL OVER.

I would be surprised if this is even read by someone that cares enough to respond with anything other than a generic template saying, "Sorry guy. Nothing we can or will do. Have fun playing other games now we have suspended you for loving our game."

Will I wait twenty minutes before I am put into normal queue?
Absolutely not.

Will I wait that same time FIVE TIMES before being put back into normal queue going forward? NO

You are asking customers to sit and stair at the screen for twenty minutes. This is crazy.

You want one hour of my time as punishment for my ISP going down briefly.

Never again.

What I will do is I promise to treat other game makers the same. They should have a high level of customer service, because this is the entertainment industry. I paid to enjoy premium features with your game. In return you tell me to waste ONE HOUR of my time to be able to play.

Sorry Riot.

Never Again.

Just glad I have a PS4 for FF15 or I might be really upset. Amumu

For you it was only 10 minutes of being away. For your teammates it was 10 minutes of pure frustration, possibly setting them behind so far there was no coming back from it - ruining their whole 40-ish minute game.

And that happened not only once, but multiple games over fairly short periods of time to get you to the 20 minute queue. If we calculate the amount of time other people have spent in fustration about your internet issues, you'll find it to be much more than the one and a half hour you have to wait.

"You cannot expect adults with families and professional careers to accept a system that is desinged to automaticly punish me for a situation I HAD NO CONTROL OVER."

And yet you punish your teammates when you disconnect for a situation they have no control over. Take responsibility. Switch ISP. Get better internet. And if that is not possible for whatever reason, do the adult thing and accept the consequences.

Good man, you are doing the right thing. Stop giving this company your money. They don't give a fuck about you and they won't help you when you get fucked.

Not spending any money on this game is the only way they are going to learn.

Also don't mind the Rito loverbois here known as the RBSC(Rito Butt Slappers Club). These guys are here to do nothing more than add salt to your wounds and kiss Rito butt.

I sympathize with the internet cut-out. I really do. Same shit happens to me all the time. It's frustrating.

The sympathy ends there

You afked. I'm not saying the reason wasn't justified, but you were afk. That's ten minutes of gameplay that you missed. Entire games can be lost by the ten minute mark. That is not fair to your teammates. Imagine if you were one of the four who didn't dc. Would you want the afk to be banned?

Either way, you afked, so now you have to accept your punishment. It's not that hard.

Best of luck on the rift (or your future endeavors) PROJECT: FizzFizz

an IP change would do nothing. I have played online games enough to understand when this would be warranted. I have more of an issue with the fact they are not evaluating individual situations as needed. Instead they do not care about paying customers enough to say, sir we looked at your account and we will address your concerns with either a continued punishment or other option. Instead they clearly say they don't care and deal with the suspension.
