Autofill exacerbating the "trolls banning your pick when you got 'their' lane issue

So lots of people have a problem with autofill, right? It's not exactly my favorite part of league either but I see it's purpose.. Everyone was locking in top, mid and jungle leading to extreme wait times to start a game. I fear that autofill, however, hasn't solved the problem it has only created a different one.

Last night a friend and I tried to play a normal summoner's rift game for over half an hour before giving up and switching to ARAM. Our adventure in duo queue started with, shock of shocks, an autofilled support saying "switch top with me" which I of course declined having just been autofilled myself in a recent game earlier that day I figured "hey, it happens to everyone unless they play the occasional support game" which is also what i said to this support. Their response was "fine then I'm feeding". This being far from the first time I've encountered an upset troll during champ select I naturally changed the champ I had selected seeing their next move coming from a mile away, when their turn to ban came up they, quite predictably I might add, banned the new champ I had selected after which I re-selected my original choice. I laughed and politely asked the rest of our team to report the angry troll for griefing and proceeded to inform my supposed-teammate-turned-griefer that i would ask the same of the other team once the game began. This earned me a string of profanity from the now-defeated troll after which they dodged the queue.

The next few attempts were rife with dodges motivated by autofilled players unhappy with their designated positions, but thankfully only one who said they would troll and feed and whatever else they could muster as threats before they also dodged when the whole team agreed to report after the game. This is the point at which we decided ARAM would be less of a hassle. Which it obviously was.

Today is the same story, literally every game that I'm top I face an angry troll capslocking "TOP OR FEED" or some other such threat followed inevitably by said troll trying to ban my pick. This clearly outlines the problem, Autofill gives people the "right" (in their opinion) to ruin other people's games because theirs was "ruined" by a matchmaking mechanic.. now how about a solution?

I propose this as a means of stemming the flow of similar incidents; If you get autofilled and you dodge, you should suffer an increased time penalty before joining another game. Say an hour or so, maybe two, heck I would make it a 24 hour ban but sometimes accidents happen so that might be a little too harsh. this would, in my opinion, deter people who got autofilled from dodging after throwing threats around and just rejoining another game 5 minutes later to do the same thing to another player, as well as having the effect of making the potential troll feel like they are already on thin ice and shouldn't rock the boat, thus likely reducing instances of threats and attempted blackmail. as for other people who weren't autofilled who dodge simply keep the penalty the same since these days a lot of those dodges seem to be a defensive measure employed by players in my situation who are just trying avoid playing with people who are threatening to troll and feed because they got autofilled.

Just a thought..

See I don't care if you want my ADC role. If you ban my Kog'Maw I'm going to go my backup ADC. And the only backup ADC I know is Urgot.

I just play the role and do whatever during an auto fill, if people want me to play an actual support not something off meta, then they better be picking a real jungle / mid laner into the comp that (I Agree with that makes sense) or don't come in chat bitching about it especially with an auto lock adc that doesn't make sense to me with the comp lol...

Auto Fill makes a really negative experience for two reasons...

1.) Auto fill bot lanes creates negativity and toxicity issues between two players who don't play alike one another aka myself in solo queue.

2.) Auto fill brings stupid junglers who are forced there and don't know how to jungle and think they are the carry only to throw off the game stupidly and generate negativity and reports for themselves.

Just two of the thing I see.

If you force me to play jungle, or I get autofilled there and nobody wants to switch, I will 100% feed, not because I want to int, but because I'm Wood VIII level of bad as a jungler. It's stuff like this that makes me not want increased penalties of dodging while autofilled.

When I have been Autofilled in a role (Mid seems to be the most position I get autofilled with); I try my absolute hardest to do whatever it takes to win my lane.

I do not switch with anyone, as I do not wish to bother people who hasn't been Autofilled and got their preferred role.

On the bright side, I am able to play any role quite well...

Autofill in ranked at least makes some sense. Winning or losing matter, and you get a small penalty for dodging.

Autofill in normals makes no sense, and I would certainly never autofill in a normal either. Winning or losing in a normal is meaningless so I will just lock in the champion I want to play and go where I want. As long as I don't say a single word I cannot be punished.

So I ask you, why would you ever autofill in a normal? Sorry but I'm not sorry. If I'm going to play a normal it's because I want to try a champ or just chill and have fun and playing support is the least fucking fun thing I can possibly imagine in league. So ya, not doing that.
