False permaban??!?!

Upon logging into the League Beta Client this morning, I received a popup stating that my account has been permanently suspended. The corresponding email explaining my suspension claims that I was using malicious 3rd party programs or modifications to my client. I was using no such programs-- I briefly used a voice-over changer (the program was ONLY capable of changing voice, nothing else), used Overwolf for a day or two (I do not believe this is cheating-- many high profile players use it, and it is endorsed by C9), and use Plays.tv.

I would like to speak directly to a Riot employee to learn what activity led to my suspension, as I really do not understand what would have shown evidence of 3rd party programs. Of course I would also like the suspension revoked, if possible, since I believe I am innocent of the accusations.

Seeing the number of other recent posts about the same issue, I can only hope this is some sort of bug.

Same thing happened to me Friday. I've been going through the ticket system. I'm not really getting the time of day, so far I've gotten when copy pasted response. I'm fairly certain it has nothing to do with voice chat, over wolf or plays.tv. All I use is curse, and none of my friends have been banned. Good luck, keep upvoting and calling attention to the issue.

It should be noted, I know I did nothing to violate the terms of service. If you or anyone else posting here did, then you deserve your ban.

Those bans are issued in waves. That is the reason you see a lot of them on boards. You can contact Riot by making a support ticket here. You can try and get your acount back, but whatever the outcome they will not tell you the exact reason why you were banned.

just cause its used by C9 doesn't mean its approved by riot.

Send in a support ticket. Nothing will be done about it here. Explain the apps you were using and what they do.

Sometimes you can be flagged by automated systems that detect a 3rd party software.

Yeah, good luck with getting an actual response from the support team. I always get bot replies that say the exact same thing over and over again, even if it's a different user. I'm STILL waiting on a reply for this exact reason 4 months ago.

yeah riot are noobs, banning veteran players for litterally nothing, its a joke.
