Posting Warning About Toxic Players To Watch For

Where can we post a Summoner's Name so that other people can be aware of their behavior? I feel there should be a "Warning" Board for players that constantly que up to a ranked game just to make other player's lives miserable. I think This BB needs a black list for people to post about players we should watch out for. I've run in to a certain player 5 times now and each time they banned champions that were chosen in the Declare process. Luckily a couple times people have dodged, but then that means they're punished for not wanting to deal with a troll in game. You can't report until after game so you have the misfortune to having to play with this guy, and losing when he feeds. summoner 1

The boards are not for you to attempt to harass other players who you had a bad experience with, and this behavior is not allowed on the boards. If you think a player is behaving in violation of League rules, you can report them after the game or in a support ticket.

Keep in mind banning takes priority over pick intent, and as such banning a champion does not violate rules.

There isn't. Riot doesn't want witch hunts starting, especially since there are players who would abuse it with mistaken or false reports.

you can't. it'd be removed with multiple charges including:

harassing witch hunting name shaming

so just don't do it. and block listing wont do any good. a player had block listed me cause of my play style and she ended up with me in three games. even declared in pre chat "so and so is on my block list"

It wouldn't help, because there's no reasonable way that players would memorize or otherwise have the list available for their games. And if they did, how exactly would that help? Should they dodge, counter-troll, or otherwise abuse the blacklisted player? What if that player reformed? You're just increasing the cycle of trolling and flaming rolls endlessly with such a list, if it ever even had an impact, which it probably wouldn't.

Plus, who would offer oversight of such a list? Taking one poster's word over another is pointless at best. There was a thread here about a year ago where a player got multiple friends to all swear up and down that a teammate they had was intentionally feeding, but a quick examination of the game in question revealed that the player was blatantly a newbie in over their head and didn't even remotely deserve public harassment.

I like this idea, maybe someone should start a website with just a database of names of toxic players, you can easily search and if they are on the list of toxic/feeding/afk/negative attitude, different filters. Honestly some players really need to be called out.

...where did I say or imply every accusation is false?

But throwing accusations out in public leads to mob vengeance from people who don't care if the person was guilty or not.

And even if the accusation was true, it can lead to consequences disproportionate to the actual offense.
