Ranked matchmaking is garbage

I spent the last week trying my hardest to get back into Gold which I might add was taken from me because of this very reason. There has got to be a better way to match people in this game. I'm so tired of having to spend 10 min just to get into a game only to find out that there is someone on my team that won't listen, won't cooperate, won't stop flaming, won't do anything but lose lane. It doesn't matter how good you play your lane, if there's one person who's actually shitty but got boosted then you lose case closed. I've had to watch as my team throws away game after game and the only reason i got demoted from gold is because of those same people. All i wanted to do was try for plat and i got 10 games of losses because of teammates who either got super fed then got cocky and threw or teammates who just straight up tilted. It doesn't matter if you tell yourself that it'll be ok if you can just make sure you win your lane because no it won't. You will lose. This games community is horrible and there's nothing being done about it. All there is are new fucking plants that make you jump in the jg.

I'd like to point out that trying to climb to gold a few weeks before the end of the season is really difficult. People are most likely grinding trying to get to gold. Grinding causes more tilt which causes trolls, feeders, ragers, etc. It's possible getting to gold this close to the end of the season, but much harder than any other time in the season. Have you taken a look at your match history? You die so much. 14 deaths, 15 deaths, 13 deaths, 8 deaths, 10 deaths, 14 deaths, 10 deaths, 12 deaths, 8 deaths. That was your last 9 games.

That's an absurdly high amount of deaths per game. You need to stop going so ham. I very much doubt all these losses had to do with your teammates, and not had a little to do with your own play.

We need a better way to find teammates that actually give a fuck. Tired as hell of horrific teammates because there's nothing for me but solo queue.

I know that feel. I'm a support mains who play solo and always end up with potato top laner who keeps on dying 1 vs 1 to the enemy and never play passive after keep dying and behind. They keep on choosing weird picks like ap rengar and lee sin top. Now my MMR falling like hell thanks to them. It doesn't matter if we win the bot lane or mid, the fed top will just snowball to our other lane and towerdive us. This 'Rank' should measure our skills and not depends on the luck/possibility that there's a potato teammate who won't listen to your advise and calls to be on your team.

I don't think it's a matchmaking problem. It's a 5v5 game so you're bound to have allies who get outplayed and tilted. Idk how a better matchmaking system is gonna help you get allies who win more often. You'll also get opponents who win more often... how does that make sense? It's just players in different mindsets and different levels of tiredness/focus. I play well sometimes... sometimes I'm too tired and should've gone to bed so I get ganked and fall behind and snowballed because my awareness was terrible. How is a better matchmaking system gonna prevent you from getting players like me on your team? I'm an inconsistent silver scrubby player , and if you're in silver, you're gonna get matched with people like me no matter what.

Also its bullshit that if you've been demoted from a tier already, if you ever get to 0 lp in that tier again a loss = demote. What happened to mercy, literally without a doubt if i get to 0 lp in S1, S2, S3, or G5 its instant demote for only one loss.

You'd have to win mid game for you to win games and carry. So, try to improve on your mid game decisions (roaming, rotations, vision control) and win that way.
