well from my experience i have not crossed one toxic player once i look up their op.gg and see their accounts i think most toxic encounters are rare occurrences for people everyone has that one game that can bring out the bad in them and we only see these players once and they the disappear into solo q im wondering if there is any truth to what i think when i think of truely toxic players i think of people like scrubnoob and old tyler1 who are toxic on a constant basis most people are not this way every game they just get heated sometimes

They're really aren't. People just like to complain on the boards. Someone once said that they only people that complain about the game here are mainly those looking to complain, everyone else is playing league of legends. It's why since season 2ish the boards/forums hav always been a melting pot of player complaints about stuff they'll forget in two days.

I think Riot is too strict and most people that play the game are immature and can't handle banter or gaming slang. Also the power to report people shifts the balance of people into the hands of players, allowing them to bully others by feigning moral high ground.

I'm playing low elo on for this new account. Haven't seen much with my main. But I'd say maybe one toxic person every 2 to 3 games for low elo,

While it definitely varies on your elo, I've noticed a definitive amount of toxicity where ever you are in this game. Specifically, there is an underlying "dude-bro" culture surrounding the game that results in some questionable comments that often go unnoticed and unreported. With many players refusing to think they are a part of the problem, this has become a staple in most competitive games; however, when compared to other competitive games and mobas League still seems to overflow with toxicity.

these forums are mainly the vocal minority who were banned and are looking for a place to vent
