So today i got perm banned on my lol account without even typing 1 word after i got my previous 14 day ban since then i never typed in game and i got banned.

ok so i was kinda joking, but if we wanna be serious, then it would be a negative score. "so many negative upvotes" is the same as "so many downvotes". More downvotes than upvotes means the post would have a negative score, not a negative number of upvotes. It is 100% impossible for something to have a negative number of upvotes. You can't have a negative number of upvotes just like you can't have a negative number of apples. You can take away an upvote you have already given, but you can't take away an upvote you haven't given.

Nope, if i mean't downvotes I would've said something like why does this post have any downvotes. when I said negative upvotes i meant specifically that the number of downvotes is greater than the number of upvotes - it has a negative number of upvotes, or "negative upvotes". When i made the comment it was at -2.

Yeah, there was a lot of fuss about people buying premium currency through a bank, buy items from other players, then "refunding" curency purchase through said bank and people ending up with negative curency, getting banned.

No, I'm talking about the guy who was so good they legit banned him.

He solo'd an interception that most people can only handle for 40-60 minutes for 7 hours. By using a very smart build that involved stealth mechanics and execution damage. Which, by the way, are STILL in the game, so they weren't bugs.

If this is the same exploit I think it is, there wasn't actually much skill involved and it was basically hotfix-tier in terms of how overpowered it was. Keep in mind almost everyone that did this weren't banned, but if this guy abused it for 7 hours straight...

Your accounts were banned for a different reason than chat, which is why the chat is showing up empty. The reason applied to the account was incorrect, which caused the reform card to popup.

You should contact player support for more information about your account bans.

I did see one case a while back that was like this and it turned out that they were banned for gameplay greifing but the people also checked verbal abuse I'm the reporr. So the reform card generated the wrong message, but the ban was intended.

It's because your saying nothing was creating a negative experience. If enough people report you for something, then it's the red flag that what you're doing is "against the community standards"

The community standards are established by people who report people. So if a lot of people report you for negative behavior, it's because of something you said (or didn't say) and this "ruined their experience".

So when Riot says that they don't ban people when they follow the summoners code, for not talking, for being bad, etc, it's all a lie. The ones who decides who should be punished are the small minority who report you and that's all that's taken into consideration. I've had Riot employees tell me this for months now, so dont bother asking them to take back their ban. "the people have spoken" will be their answer.

The fact that you got banned for saying nothing when you have Rioters everywhere saying that saying nothing doesn't get you banned is boogus.

To show that I'm on your side, I'll show you the quotes that Riot has been giving me that shows just how messed up it is:

So when I say it's purely because it's because the players who're reporting you are the ones who dictate who gets punished or not, this is because these are not my words. These are Riots words.

Well this is a bad system IMO because there is premades that reports me everytime they meet me probably (which is like every game i meet them) because i am a smurf and they report me constantly without me trolling, typing anything... Hope riot really does something about this

I highly doubt it. Odds are they're going to say that your ban was justified since they have that "we don't unban accounts for any reason" policy. I've showed them how every Rioter who's been answering my tickets have been contradicting each others answers and constantly changing their reasons towards my own ban but we know how those are usually treated when you point out a flaw to Riot.

Nothing will be fixed as long as Riot caters to the people who complain about everything. Just look at the US right now. We've been trying to do that and we're in a mess of a situation anymore becuase the written rules/statements don't have any weight to them anymore.

They reverse and reduce punishments that were the result of mistakes. Mistakes are just rare, at least regarding false positives. It seems like they have a never unban policy because 99% of the people calling their punishments mistakes are just disagree with what is considered punishable.

LOL you actually believe this? You think RIOT actually fixes "mistaken" bans?

Even a cursory review of report cards on this forum shows how broken their automated system remains. Everyday people post false report bans on here and some random RIOTer always has an excuse for why their perfect system failed:

a) actually you were correctly perma banned, just for something else b) you were correctly perma banned, just in a different game that didnt get flagged. c) you were toxic in the past, so even if this report isn't bad you already had warnings

mhmmmm sure RIOT. we believe you. /sarc

The other thing I love about this, is how the entire forum is a circle jerk of people exclaiming how perfect the automated system is and whenever someone casts doubt upon the system, a RIOTer or one of their minions assures us its working.

Wobbly jibler is talking about something that riot has said about the system since the beginning.

Spine Splitter said it is A factor. Which agian, is no secret. Reporting has always been a step in the processes. You for some reason have taken this to mean it is the most important factor.

Princess Bubblegum said the same thing as spine splitter, that reports are A factor. Becuase they are and again, not the only factor. It is just the first step in the processes.

You are missinterpreting(almost intentionally it seems at times) support's failure to be able to properly articulate why your logs which are so obviously negative to people who understand the rules that it is hard to explain why to someone who doesn't understand.

I don't know what triggered his punishment but if he was actually didn't do anyting his punishment is going to be overturned. Mistakes happen and they are overturned when they are discovered.
