Fix Leavers In Ranked Games

I like many of other players out there am frustrated, why? because I have had three recent games where a player on my team has gone afk and caused me to lose the game. Now losing the game isn't important to me, its the losing of the LP that I care about. Now I Know that this happens to everyone and we have all faced this, BUT WHY!? if someone leaves the game why do the other 4 people have to suffer?? why is there no lp loss prevention for the other 4 people in that game!? there should be! answers! please! why!

yes from now on if someone goes afk that champion will be swaped out for a teemo bot.

Or swap in a new player that is in Qeue

Why? because of how easily it will be abused (its not a matter of if) whats stopping someone from harassing another player to quit, or someone taking a hit for the team (in the case of smurfs). it shouldn't be that easy to get a lose prevention. Don't get me wrong it sucks when someone leaves the game. But there is nothing we can do to stop it. That's kind of what happens when you play an online game. Plus take into account that it might not even be the players fault for them leaving the game. This game has bugs/glitches just like every other game, we have bugsplat errors, and massive lagspike that can hit anyone at any given time. To punish someone for that would be wrong.

so you would take the hit for a team? I wouldn't and besides they could implement harsher punishments for the person that went afk so no one will want to be the one taking it for the team. and yea i understand that it might not always be a persons fault but if your connection is so back that you are leaving the game for an extended period of time and causing losses then you should be banned from ranked until that isn't an issue.

I wouldnt, but again like i said whats stopping someone from harassing another to get to that point? its already happen now, and if it means a free pass you honestly dont think people would abuse it? Also you forgot the other detail i said about smurfs. People have them for this exact reason. To help especially their friends rank up. If they are playing on a smurf account they dont care about if that account gets punished let alone a large hit from LP because more often than not they can just get it all back if they are just that good.

And again with connection problems you never know how bad it is till you actually get into game. Let alone that the problems that might occur (bugsplat error) is so random. But one game can have little to no lag, and yet the next game after that could be 1-3k Ping. Until we have something in the client to tell us how good/bad our connect is we have no way of telling how our game is going to be!
