How is it okay for you to ban ppl for flaming while there is ppl in the same game that liteally inted, left their rolls just to troll and flamed as well (not getting banned) so if i say x words ill get banned but if i troll every game just because im bored with my life and fck every1 game experience up its fine? they can mute me but i cant delete them from the game its okay then lets play that game :)
Trolling, inting and the like do result in a 14-day ban as the first punishment when caught. The problem is proving intent, which the IFS has trouble doing due in part to people false reporting gameplay related offenses that didn't actually happen (for example some people consider someone going 0/3/13 as inting when it's actually not in most circumstances). Chat-related offenses are easier to detect, prove intent for and punish for, which is why those cases start off with simple chat restrictions barring things like death wishes, racial slurs and other zero-tolerance policy violations which result in a 14-day ban rather than a simple CR.
The mute button while handy is no excuse for poor behavior and is only meant to serve as a band-aid solution at most. Besides, the people who verbally abuse and harass others are not spending that time playing the actual game itself, which could arguably be considered as bad as some gameplay related offenses like intentionally afking.
