League of Legends community frustration

League of Legends Match History

I don't know if any of you will read this but I am tired of the amount of toxicity, negativity and flaming that goes on in this game, this community is out of hand and you need to do something about it.

this game is not even close to enjoyable when you play 5 games in a row where your team is constantly flaming each other while they only all proceed to feed lane and you are the only one who actually wins lane/doesn't throw the game out the window(match history for anyone who cares).

frustrating to have "silver 3 mmr" ( dont know how much credit to give op.gg or any website's calculations on this) only to then get demoted when there was literally nothing you could do except try your best to not lose your sanity and play each game till the end and end up being the only one to come out positive after the 1 vs 9.

I don't know what needs to be changed due to how convoluted the problem is but Riot's team as a whole needs to figure something out because it's out of control when the player base continuously treats each other like garbage all the time, sometimes before a game even begins. clearly whatever they are currently doing / have put in place is not working because I'm definitely not the only person who feels this way.

it feels like there is nothing you can do about it when 9.9 times out of 10 reporting players seems to have little to no effect especially when every time anything happens at any moment in the game, said tilted player defaults to "report -- person".

probably the most frustrating gaming community i think I have ever been a part of

end rant.

I'll say what I did in another thread just a moment ago, I really don't see much toxicity very often. When I do its relatively easy to de-escalate or get the 2 players that are flaming eachother to focus on something else. I think the players that see the toxic behavior as often as they do feed into it a bit themselves, sometimes inadvertently or unaware that they're do so and it gets out of control. I fucking mean this when I say this, don't just answer "I do that already" or "thats not going to work"- just try it and actually see what happens:

Any ally has been slain Player 1: dude bot can u stop fucking feeding You (mid): its cool man, we got this late game

or

You (mid): I think were ok if we just start grouping

or

You (mid): we really need to try to get vision at XXXX

or

You (mid): We're OK , just gotta play a lil safer

or

You (mid): I think you can get top tower if they keep pressuring bot so hard

Whatever might be relevent. If its constant misses of skillshots or like wtf you're doing, just find a way to get everyone to chill out. Those can be frustrating situations for both players. Top now feels like he can't win the game despite him winning lane, and maybe bottom died for something COMPLETELY out of their control and top didn't even actually see it; maybe he missed a skillshot and thats just going to tilt him more. Whatever it might be, try to be as passive in tone as possible while trying to ease your way into finding a solution. I think you'll find you have less toxic games and that your playing experience will be more enjoyable. WHATEVER YOU DO, do NOT contribute to the flaming. It is counter productive. And more-so than just "flaming", dont even fucking say anything negative about their play, its just going to tilt people and start a flame war. Good luck friend.

Rule 1 : Don't type in chat. Typing in chat results in ban. Rule 2: Get used to taking flame from both enemies and teammates that will continue to stay unbanned.
